An idea ruined by simple issues
I’m an otaku I love watching anime and gaming and all of that junk that keeps me missing my childhood. So I thought maybe I could find somebody like myself on an app like this why not it makes sense. The problem is this app has two issues.
The first one is that there doesn’t seem to be anybody on this app either event, or every single one of the people in my area. There is using this app is super super introverted more so than myself. the people that I can find to match with are over 25 miles away or further. And a lack of people to match with means that whenever I do find a person come up in my suggestions, I have to think very hard if I’m going to engage with them or not.
The second issue is a much bigger one in that much like every other dating app you guys charge a premium for something is simple as messaging a person to make matters worse is that I get so few people coming up to swipe on get more notifications of people showing interest in me that I can’t even look at because you guys demand I pay to see the four or five people that actually have an interest in me, and then to keep talking to them.
I despise predatory marketing mechanics like this and thus I give this app a 1-out of-5 and I uninstall the app.

It was worth a try
Since I live in the middle of nowhere, to no surprise, there was only a couple of profiles. So I can't really critique the matching system or messaging. I think the only thing I dislike is how cropped the profiles are. I hope this app gets more users as theres really nothing else for otaku dating besides Maiotaku which is just as dead. Maybe also add some more features like profile prompts like "what's your favorite anime?" etc even adding stuff like political affiliation, sexuality, religious beliefs, and monogamous versus poly would be helpful because the profiles are so bare bones and people do not bother filling them out.

Why is it vip only it feels like
No conversations because I am not VIP. I have other gamer dating apps that are not doing this. Sorry. I am leaving site
