  • Was liking game until….

Could not get into the mine, no matter what I tried. Frustrating. So I dumped it.
  • Great port of the best interactive fiction game of all time

This is my favorite game of all time, and I think it’s a great fit for mobile. Adding a zoom feature and altering the text box UX makes this game very playable on a smaller device, but I think it really shines on an iPad. Play through a few acts a night before bed and I’m positive by the end of it you will be glad you did.

  • Not A Game In The Traditional Sense

I reached the end a few days ago and I’m still thinking about this ‘game’. It’s not a game in the traditional sense because there’s no right or wrong way to play it and the decisions you make don’t necessarily affect how the story progresses, more how you feel about it while you’re playing it. There’s nothing to win and no points gained either. “What’s the point of it then”? I hear you ask. It’s a journey that’s entirely what you make of it - like life. That’s all I’m going to tell you about it. Beautifully made and scripted, give it a go if you’re feeling lost and you will find kindred spirits on your journey.

  • Meh…

Good if you like reading a lot of dialogue. Very unique visually, not really sure what’s exactly going on, some strange dialogue that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Not so much my type of game but very well put together. I prefer something more interactive than script reading
  • It’s more like a book than a game

  • It’s ok

It got really boring at the museum of dwellings so I stopped playing and deleted.
  • I really wanted to like this game.

I don’t know if it’s the whole Netflix ownership thing or what but this game got unplayable by act 3. Started great but The Xanadu part became so boring it violated the Geneva convention. I had no clue what to do and it took half an hour of bumbling only to leave the game and when I signed back in was forced to start that painful process over again. Maybe there needs to be a better save function to avoid hours of lost playtime but this snoozefest became as entertaining as a vasectomy.

    Very disappointed.
