Endless p2w grindfest with no real point
An okay TD foundation sits atop endless non-progression that'll let you unlock 5 different iterations on the same 5 basic upgrades. You'll have seen everything the game has to offer within the first 30 minutes. Hundreds of dollars in p2w purchases before you even get into the premium currency that locks off stuff all over the place. Don't waste your time.

Waste of time
Not much to game you set up towers gathering resources to allow you to buy more towers and and power them up so you can reach higher waves.
So the initial set up of the towers is the main part of the game you then leave the game to run gathering resources. The only part of the game that requires your interaction is the highest levels of of the current run where you use spells to hopefully advance another 20 to 30 waves further than your last run.
Once a run is done you use prestige, energy, and diamonds to improve such things as damage, speed of game, improved resource collection, and evolve your towers so you can proceed further quicker on your next run.
I was having fun with the game determining the best set up of towers then deciding which improvements to make to advance quicker. Unfortunately when I reached about wave 2500 which took me about two weeks of play time to achieve the game started to freeze in the starting game screen and would not load.
Tried restarting my iPad to no effect and eventually deleted the game and reloaded hoping this would restore my progress but no luck with that.
So restarted the game this time linking it to my apple account so if this happened again I would not lose my progress.
So reached about wave 2500 again and the same thing happened again freezing when I started the game. Tried the usual remedies again to no effect so reloaded the game linked my apply account but did not load my previous progress.
Overall I found this game interesting the set up of the towers and their interactions is probably the most complex I have seen in any tower defence game.
But the amount of time you have to invest is just not worth it especially if you are going to lose all progress when this bug occurs.

I brought the resource pack for £14.99 And and the handful of gems for £4.99 and didn’t receive anything it just says processing purchase, please wait I contacted the customer support team and it said give up to 48 hours. But never heard back nor did I receive a refund. Now I can’t buy anything in game because when I do it just says processing purchase please wait.

Alright game, but…
I’m sure this game is just as good it even better than the first, but I can’t look past the fact this entire game looks terrible, even worse is when you compare it to the first game’s amazing pixel art, which is most of why I still play it. Don’t like the Roblox-like style this one has. Going to stick to the first one.

Support crew is a clique of abusive jerks
This app doesn’t handle the iOS App Store api well. Sometimes it hangs. It always double bills for tournament boosts - but the worst part is the moderators on their discord. Go in and browse through it a bit and all you’ll see is them congratulating themselves and being abusive jerks to anyone who mentions a bug. It’d be one thing if they were just awful to me, maybe they had a bad day. But, I watched them mock four other customers after me, then I left discord and deleted their bugged game.

Good game, slows down too quickly .
Make it easier to evolve monsters by making the exp system faster. Idle mode doesn’t give monsters exp and the amount of exp to evolve at a 3 star or higher is outrageous.
