The “make a game” is a pretty loose term. It’s basically what you can make in PowerPoint but on your phone. Interesting concept though and ease of accessDownpour encourages creativity and meaningful engagement
Downpour (still don’t get the name) is a really neat way to produce gamified art. Anything you post is elevated by its interaction with the audience. It’s oddly similar to social media in a way, since you upload images to use as the background. But can be a lot more intimate when you interact with an post rather then be a passive observer. That’s before you begin to actually make a game, and there are plenty of creative examples of that.digital zine maker

Remember creating things on the internet? Remember HyperCard? Remember feeling like you had a stake in making a cool personal space online and then sharing it with friends and strangers and they would tell you “hey! this space! very cool!”? These are the things I remembered immediately upon starting up Downpour, and I’m sure I’ll remember a lot more as I go.
