Description of NecroMerger

The Devourer is always hungry and it’s your job to feed it in this idle merge game mashup. Play as the NecroMerger and use dark magic to summon an array of creatures (skeletons, zombies, demons, banshees… the list goes on). Merge them from piddly little grunts into massive (and tasty) brutes, before feeding them to your ever hungry pet. As you grow your Devourer you’ll attract the attention of merchants, champions and even rivals. Some can be useful, others must be fought… or fed to your insatiable pet. The bigger the Devourer grows the more your lair will expand and you’ll unlock powerful abilities and spells. Complete tasks to unlock new stations and equipment… graves, altars, fridges and even a bathtub to hold excess slime. New stations will let you summon new, stronger (and even more tasty) creatures. Manage your lair and your underlings to maximize your resource generation. NecroMerger is a whole new type of game, which combines merge and idle mechanics with resource management to create something truly unique. Grow Monsters + 70+ creatures to spawn and merge. + Creatures have unique abilities to manage (resource generation, damage, deliciousness) + Legendary Creatures with massive benefits. Expand your Lair + Expand your lair. Unlock new equipment including; graves, supply cupboards, lecterns. + Attract Champions, merchants and thieves to your lair. + Complete tasks, master spells, brew potions. Idle Merge Mashup + A unique system of resource management. + Resources generate even when you’re offline. + Months of fun! From the makers of Idle Apocalypse and Idle Mastermind, NecroMerger has all the humour and inane chatter you’d expect of a Grumpy Rhino Game.

Reviews of NecroMerger

  • Mobile games like this are diamonds amongst the rough

NecroMerger is an amazing game, with every single feature seemingly thought out for how best to make it a tricky yet fun task to work your way around. The collecting of new monsters is so much fun and is made even more fun by the beautiful art style this game has to offer. Ads are vital to any free mobile game and this one executes them perfectly by making them an entirely optional part of the game that just gives you different rewards for watching them. These ads are also put on limits which helps maintain the progression of the game allowing ads to be this small benefit to your progression but not one that completely breaks the original intended gameplay loop.

Tl:Dr this game is a revolutionary take on the merge genre that doesn’t conform to the blueprint of modern cheap App Store games
  • New DinoSnores event needs to be recalibrated

This review is only about the new DinoSnores event. There are a few gameplay issues here that equate to the event being boring, boring, and frustrating. The biggest problem needing fixing, and thus the easiest way to fix these problems, is that primordial soup does not create fast enough. I could be away from the the game for 24 hours and still not have the primordial soup reach the early game cap (which makes upgrading the soup cap a complete waste of resources). Since primordial soup is the only resource factor for creating new dinos and also feeding them, a low soup generation rate means I’m only making a few dinos at a time and feeding them very slowly due to soup running out. This in turn means the big dino isn’t waking quickly and I’m wasting time with the Alien Beacon being full.
  • So very slow.

So, most games like this, you gain back the ground you give up by prestiging very quickly. That is not the case with this game. It’s slightly, and I mean ever so slightly quicker. I’ve been playin for months and only prestiged twice. And the second time I did, I gained no benefit, I was just curious if I was doing something wrong. I mostly only play for the events at this point because the main game is so slow going to be negligible. You will run out of cravings you can fill before leveling up the monster, so you end up just making random things to feed it and hope food pops up in the shop. To be honest, im not even sure buying the bundles for real money would help alleviate this.
