  • Great game !

Once you find out how to drop the coins you will have a blast with yourself.
  • This game is truly an experience.

I cannot express with words how marvelous, innovative, and eye-opening this game is.

On the surface, yes, it may just seem like a silly little game of Connect 4 with goofy ahh balls inspired by the characters Sonic and Knuckles from the hit video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog, but it is much more than that.

This game… no, piece of art, teaches you and makes you ponder upon important life lessons, the human condition, and existence itself.

It teaches you that in life, we often cannot know the outcomes. You can be determined to make things right, to win, to be successful, but sometimes it’s just a matter of fate. It teaches you that failure and suffering is avoidable at times, but ultimately inevitable or unforeseeable. You must accept this fact to truly be at peace with yourself, and this game does an amazing job of showing you that.

The game of Connect 4 is already innovative and impactful in this way, but ETGgames expands upon it even further with their genius.

The scenery, and music are absolutely stunning. They’re almost enough to distract you from the game, even. But the inclusion of both of those things aren’t just for show.

They remind you that life can be hard. It can be cruel, unforgiving, frustrating, but at the same time, there is so much beauty it has to offer. It is a sacred thing, and you must remember that.

This game reinforces this idea especially when you are losing. Yes, it is unfortunate when you lose and it doesn’t feel great, losing is one of the aspects of life that are inevitable, but the intricacy and beauty of the landscape and music remind you that even when things seem grim, there is so much to appreciate and love in life, and you must not forget that during hard times. You must keep fighting to find and experience the beauty of life, to fulfill yourself, to find your purpose and meaning in life.

One thing this game had made me ponder about that had stuck with me is how lucky everyone is to exist.

Billions of years ago, the universe just happened to create itself. And even more billions of years after that, Earth was created, and it was sustainable enough of a planet for life to thrive and evolve over millennia.

Life on Earth has lead to beautiful landscapes and places in nature we can witness, the creation of music, and games to pass the time and have fun.

Somehow, you have a consciousness, sentience, the ability to think, move, feel emotions, exist. How lucky are we for that? Can you imagine just.. not existing? Not being able to see or feel or feel or think or do anything at all, forever?

Even when you feel down, depressed, angry, anxious, or sad, it reminds you that you are human. That you exist. That you can feel.

This game teaches you all that. When you’re happy about winning, sad or angry about losing, when you appreciate the music and gape upon the landscape, you experience all the aspects of life all at once, in one fantastic game: emotion, beauty, and the aspects of the human condition. That is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review. I hope it has opened your eyes and encouraged you to play this masterpiece, and to ETGgames, if you’re reading, I must thank you greatly for this profound and beautiful work of art. Thank you so much for gracing us with this. and also ohmygodthistookwaytoolongtowritelolwhatamidoingwithmytime
