Finally an app that cares about safety!
So Excited! Rater has been Long overdo. With all the apps out there that don’t take trust and safety seriously it’s nice to know Rater actually does something to prevent catfish. I’ve been on too many apps with catfish and scammers and I’m so tired of it. I also love the IRL mixers. Great job Rater!

Love the app
The anticatfishing features are a welcome change to all the other dating apps. Really appreciate knowing I’m talking to real people instead of scammers.

I really appreciate the efforts to mitigate catfishers and scammers. Most dating apps don’t do enough to prevent this. And the app experience is good as well.

So far, I've had a good experience with Rater. I like how you can easily see how the other profiles have been rated.

Completely filled out my profile, even the optional parts. Kept getting the message that I can start swiping once my profile was completed. 🤷🏼♂️

Hello! We apologize you are experiencing issues with the Rater user profile set up. Generally, when the error screen / message comes up that you need to complete your profile before swiping, it means you have not uploaded 6 photos (which is required). Our team is working on a better and more targeted error messaging notification for the profile set up, so hopefully this doesn't happen in the future. I put my cell phone number in and did not receive the text with the verification code. A scam to acquire your phone number?
