I enjoy the game, but…
Currently on the 8th garden, Desert Manor. Some obvious issues are levels not displaying moves left, tutorials restarting hundreds of levels later, and in my opinion there are hard & super hard levels that are either way too easy or standard levels that are way too hard and should be considered hard or super hard.
A particular issue I’ve had is on level 647, though I am sure this is present on other levels that I’ve forgotten— I like to clear levels without using coins/powerups you can select at the start. This level specifically I had been stuck for weeks on as it seems to only be beatable under very specific conditions without the use of coins and powerups. I even used a few add moves if I thought I could beat the level with a few more moves, but it still wasn’t possible.
After weeks of being stuck on it, I was finally able to complete the level without using anything extra. I know the game is pretty generous with powerups and coins as there’s almost always a little event going, but I can see there being an issue where a player can soft-lock themselves out of progression if they run out of coins and powerups or in my situation, want to beat a level without the use of extras. This should not be possible on a game that doesn’t use micro-transactions and feels like almost sloppy, like there are levels that were just thrown together with little to no QA.Show lessfewlekai
Fable of current socio-economic issues worldwide
I really hope people get the nuances behind the character development. Every character is basically unlikeable but in a quite realistic way. If people can’t see the disappointment behind the false hope that the game’s ideology promises then they need to go back to school. Please pay attention to how boosters work as these will not always follow the rules when used in conjunction so you will essentially be ripped off of moves. A great metaphor for pyramid schemes but also current employment. Stop fantasising about your bucket list trip to Ibiza, it’s not going to happen so learn how to think instead.Show lessthisisodd2020
Relaxing except for the bugs
There are little glitches that are ignorable, but then there’s these: I didn’t get any story loading a good chunk of one of the early gardens. I didn’t get gifts from animals from another garden. One time a letter didn’t load. And most annoying, I have not only earned, but currently have over 100k coins and the achievement isn’t cleared - it’s actually stuck at 4%. I like everything else about this cute game, but I’m so annoyed I won’t be able to get 100% of the achievements. I also wish we could access the letters, dialog, all the plant/animal cards from some sort of journal/diary. Then if you accidentally click or the game glitches, you can still see the whole story. Finally, there hasn’t been an update in months but there aren’t enough levels to finish the last garden/story. The bonus levels don’t give seeds. :(Show lesspixiealix
