  • Quick Drop is better until June 30

Hopefully you can fix the issues that make this more of a hassle to transfer files than QD. While it does allow me to do transfers, I have to jump through extra hoops to get it accomplished. When I’m wanting to transfer something, my focus is on doing the transfer, not trying to configure the transfer apparatus each time.
I do not need this app running in the background. When I want to transfer, I open the app on my mobile device and my computer, do the transfer, close the app and get on with what I’m doing. QD works that way for me. I just showed my wife the difference by successfully transferring a photo from my computer via drag and drop method with Quick Drop, the failing to do so with Unison. I will probably revert to using iExpand Drive

Hi, Timagah. Thank you for taking the time to review the Intel® Unison™ application. We understand that you are experiencing transmission issues. The user can set the Intel® Unison™ application to run in the background or to start when Windows* starts. This can be done from the General tab of the application. Without this, the application may not synchronize your data when you're not using it. For more information, please refer to the user guide for your Intel® Unison™ application at [ https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000092672/software/software-applications.html ]. Make sure all pairing permissions are implemented as required. Keeping your Bluetooth driver, Windows 11 operating system, and Unison™ application up to date is also a good idea. Check pairing permissions here: [https://www.intel.la/content/www/xl/es/support/articles/000092581/software/software-applications.html]. If you need further technical support or assistance, our Intel® Unison™ App Community is available at [https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Unison-App/bd-p/unison-app]. • “Airdrop”-like Action would make it 5 stars

It seems most people find this app while searching for Airdrop-to-Windows, yet that is the one thing missing.

I appreciate Intel’s effort to reduce the pain of Apple’s oversight of preventing us to simply send a few photos to our work PC. That pain makes the iPhone a paperweight instead of a useful tool.

But this app would benefit greatly by adding an Action in Photos of “Airsend to Windows” or “Airdrip” or just “Send to Windows (Unison)”

Unison lets us open our gallery on the PC, but my 256GB phone takes 10minutes to load thumbnails. Instead we should simply be in our normal Photos app and share it via an Action, and have it show up in our Windows download directory just like a Mac.

Plenty of apps use this Action feature, and this is sadly missing here.

    Please consider updating 🙏🧞‍♂️

Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to review the Intel® Unison™ App. If it takes too long to load your gallery, please note that there are other ways to transfer files with Intel® Unison™. You can use the drag-and-drop function or click on "Add Files" in the file transfer view. There is no file size or number limitation in the file transfer feature. Also, the app supports multiple file and bi-directional transfer, which means you can transfer files from your PC and phone simultaneously. Finally, we highly appreciate your suggestion of adding an action in Photos to send files from your photos app. We will make sure to bring it to the attention of our developers. If you need more information about the app, we have attached a user guide for your reference at [https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000092672/software/software-applications.html]. • A must for PC users

Been struggling with transferring video files from iPhone to PC. Clumsy and terrible interface using usb cables. Very difficult to see file names and good previews of files to tell the difference between similar takes of a video. Dropbox and OneDrive are very slow. This app is a godsend. File transfer rates are super fast and you can see what’s being transferred easily. How did I not know about this app?
