Reviews of smallTalk

  • Exactly what we were looking for!

We always knew we wanted our son to be exposed to different languages as soon as he was born. Before we found smallTalk, we could only find options geared toward adults. We started listening to lessons during tummy time and now that my son is 10 months, we listen in the car and while he plays. The app is also beautifully designed and easy to use!
  • One of a kind app for baby’s language learning skills

I’ve been using this app to play French, Spanish and Italian lessons for my baby since he was 3 months old. Now he’s 14 months, and he’s picked up a few words from the lessons. We are very proud of that! It is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my parental journey so far. We listen together for 15 mins each day, and my hope is that when he wants to learn the language when he’s older , it’ll come as a nature to him (as the research suggests). Recommend this app for infants and toddlers 100%
  • Lots of potential, limited use

The poems, stories and songs are great and are Native speakers. The “lessons” are not very applicable or adjusted by age. The app is a little confusing on how to incorporate language with the lessons.

    Developer Response
