Choppy Audio, freezes up, had to reset my radio.
The audio through the iPad on this application is choppy. If you try to tune around using the panadapter it freezes up and stops responding altogether.
The software reset something on my radio that made so that my hand mic no longer transmitted audio when using SSB. I’m sure it’s some setting buried deep in the menus, but I couldn’t find documentation on it anywhere and so had to reset my radio to get my hand mic back.
There’s a lot of potential here, but my radio should be returned to working condition after the software is disconnected and I shouldn’t be seeing things freeze up or hearing choppy audio.
Overall, this still seems a little bit half baked. If I wanted to fiddle with flakey software, I would have just kept using my Xiegu.Show lesssnifferofdaisies

Hi, the issues you are reporting don’t exist or can easily be resolved. For instance, you can fix your SSB issue by simply using the revert back settings inside the App which instructs the App how to leave the Arcadia when disconnecting. Why didn’t you use the contact developer button inside the App to get help? Looking forward to your message. I am happy to help.V Good
Very good app - the best remote control for the 705 that I have used. I really hope JS8call and some other modes(RTTY) will be included. Also, I think that 36 for the phone version on top of 49 for this is a bit steep. However, if you are undecided, this is a great app worth the money. Please add more digital - JS8Call and RTTY and give us ipad purchasers a discount on the phone version!Show lessAmachine

A great app
I’ve been using this app for a few days now, and I have to say, its been getting me to use my Icom 705 a lot more. The large waterfall makes it easy to hunt and peck around, save memory channels quickly on the fly, and just jump into FT8 super quickly. It literally makes the radio “friendlier”. I look forward to any other innovations the app author may care to add (WSPR, PSK-31, JS8Call, etc, etc).Show lessVA3POR
Great bit of software.
I tried to enquire if the product was available on a “try before buy” basis but was told quite rudely…this was not possible. I asked as I am a R8600 user so I wanted to be sure the features I was looking for were included. I checked the manual but did not find the answer there. So I wrote to Marcus requesting the information. Unfortunately I did not get the answer I was expecting. In fact, I did not receive an answer to my questions at all so I guess we just got off on the wrong foot. Personalities aside, the software works well. I would like to see specific group memory description as in the receiver if possible. Also, the ability to scan one memory group and use a CSV file from the cloud would be the icing on the cake. I never sit in front of my 7610 anymore, I just sit on my living room chair and completly enjoy this app. The app is a masterpiece in programming and a joy to use.

Amazing App
This goes far beyond anything I might expected from such an app on my iPad for my IC 705. Not only does it provide a full-function remote control capability, but adds other tools such as FT8/FT4, logging, Pskreporter, and more. These are functions I would not have expected. Works Perfectly with IC-705 !!
I just finished a 6 day POTA activation with this app running on my iPad Mini and it wirelessly connected to my IC-705 in AP mode. The app worked flawlessly !! Marcus, DL8MRE is amazing. I did have to turn off Bluetooth on the iPad because it was overpowering the Wi-Fi signal from the IC-705.
