Great and Easy
I never leave app reviews but I want to help increase this rating. I have an American phone number, just change the country code to yours and it’ll create you an account. It’s sooo easy. A taxi showed up faster than an Uber I’ve requested.umm? ok?
American phone numbers work now
I see that all the older reviews say this app doesn’t work w an American number, it appears that way but you just have to delete the Icelandic area code (I think it’s +354) and replace it with +1(your area code). You just have to include the plus signzak3214
Worked Perfect for Me
I’m an American and needed a ride from downtown Reykjavik to a car rental place on the other side of town. I was able to download and use this app just like I would Uber or Lyft back home. Driver arrived almost immediately and got me to my destination quick. He was very friendly and hospitable. Only downside is it’s pricy, but I think that’s the case with all taxis in the area. I wanted to share my positive experience since I saw this app had a poor rating so far. I wrote this in August 2024 for reference. Good luck travelers!Show lessDaniel Emerson
DON’T USE THIS APP! WORST APP EVER!
This is the worst app ever made. Used it once by creating an account. Ate dinner. Then tried using the app again and it wouldn’t work. It signed me out and would not allow me to sign back in. Doesn’t work with U.S. Phone Number
Tried to register to the app but the SMS required to confirm phone number never arrives to the US phone number I provided. Also the app doesn’t tell the user the number isn’t valid so great.TomiSF
App Setup with North American Cellular Number
I have been unsuccessfully trying to set up the app with my Canadian cellphone number for SMS verification. It doesn’t seem to work and I get no response from repeated emails to the company. I’m planning a visit to Iceland and taxi access is important to me as I have a mobility issue.Burned Early Adopter
