Updated review
It turns out that OneLook doesn't work with my VPN. I turned it off and it seems to work as advertised.
ugh, subscription only after trial
no mention of this anywhwere until its downloaded - no thanks
i dont like the subscription
i dont like how nothing is accessible without paying money long-term
especially wordle
just add in-app purchases and optional subscription so i can use the base app and access a thesaurus easily

I use it every day!
Great app. I could use the free online site, and I did for awhile, but the app is so much more convenient! Especially when I'm using my writing programs full-screen and I can just pick up my phone to search a word or phrase. I rarely use more than just the thesaurus but just today I needed a word to rhyme for the name of a fictional shop. Got a good answer in seconds.

Absolutely incredible
There's nothing like it for people who write using their iOS device. I thought I was fine using the mobile browser version of OneLook, but the app and especially keyboard are game-changers. The annual $15.49 AUD subscription is well worth it.
Unusable to me due to screen color choices
I couldn’t use the app. Text on background was unreadable in Wordl mode. It hurt my eyes.
Understand the need for subscriptions…
However I really don’t find any compelling reason(s) to use this app (let alone pay a sub for it) when the desktop website is a mere click away using Safari. If there were some truly unique functionality to this app I’d love to give it another try.
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. The App Store description and the app itself list 10 such reasons. While we find them compelling, we understand that not everyone will agree, and that's why you can try the app for free for two weeks.
