Block Blast Review: Frustration After the Update
I’ve been a loyal fan of Block Blast for a while now, but the latest update has completely ruined the experience for me. Previously, the game was challenging but fair—you started with a clean grid, and the challenge was about strategy and making the most of the pieces you were given.
Now, with the new update, the game starts you off with blocks already placed on the board, which feels more like a punishment than a fun twist. It’s incredibly frustrating because these pre-placed blocks often leave you with fewer options right out of the gate. To make things worse, there are times when the three new blocks they give you don’t even fit anywhere on the board. It’s disheartening to lose not because you made a mistake, but because the game didn’t provide a workable solution.
This update has stripped the game of its original charm and strategy, replacing it with randomness and unfair setups. It feels less like a puzzle game and more like a gamble now. Unless this issue gets fixed, I’ll probably stop playing altogether, and I know I’m not alone in feeling this way. Developers, please listen to your players and bring back the fair and fun gameplay we loved!

Block Blast! x Y/N
BB! walks to Y/N’s front door, drenched in sweat after running to her home, and bangs the door with desperation. Y/N crying from what happened earlier, thinks “What does this baka want now?!” She walks to her door and opens the door just a peep and says, “Go away!” BB! replies with “Let me in, cupcake. I’m sorry I wanna try and make it up to you.” Y/N in disbelief says, “Are you serious? How could you ever fix this mess! I hate you senpai!!” BB! feels like he got stabbed in the chest with those words, feeling weak in his knees. Trying not to show his weakness he says toughly, “Fine! Have it your way, heh.. I could care less.” As he felt tears start to stream from his face, he turned his back away from Y/N, his tail slowly goes down from the sadness. Y/N feels bad for BB!, she knows how he gets when he’s angry“BB!-kun CAN be overprotective with me sometimes…maybe I should give him a second chance..” She opens the door fully and BB!’s ears go up and he takes a sharp turn around facing Y/N-chan. “Y/N kitten..” Y/N leaps to BB! and they end up in a warm embrace. Y/N’s beady eyes look up to her tall alpha, and their lips collide.

Glitch? Problem? Annoyance?
This game is amazing! It’s especially good for me because I like the fact there’s not a whole lot of competition, just against yourself really 😆 I love it and am still giving it a 5 star, but for some reason there’s this weird glitch thing that whenever there’s a new event and it says 7 days on there, every time I try to tap it and play the first day…nothing happens, it just dosent let me play. Ik, weird. But whenever I try the day after, on 6, it’s totally fine! I have no clue why, it dosent bother me too much but is still kinda annoying,pls try and fix this!
K update, adding on to my problem last time i wrote this review, it’s December 31rst as I’m writing this, the number of days for the adventure thingy has said 7 days since before Christmas…I’m not great at math but that doesn’t add up! It’s staring to get annoying because as I have already said it doesn’t let me play adventure when the number of days is on 7, pls fix this it’s very annoying

I can’t live without it
Block blast is life. All i know is Block Blast. Block Blast has filled my brain with infinite joy. Block Blast is all i think about. Block Blast is all i dream about. Without Block Blast i would be lost. Block Blast is my baby. I get strange looks from classmates when they see me whip out my phone mid class to play this beautiful game. (Those are strange looks of jealousy of course) When my classmates see me whip out Block Blast, they then also whip out their Block Blast. We then have a Block Blast party in class. And don’t even get me started on the Block Blast voice. It is beautiful, It is life changing. Block Blast is what motivates me to wake up every morning. Oh how i love Block Blast. I hope this very paragraph that i wrote with love, is the reason you download this app. I personally think that there should be a Block Blast fan club where all the Block Blasters go to celebrate the existence of Block Blast. Thank you to the creators of Block Blast for filling my life with joy once again. BLOCK BLAST FOREVERRRRRR!!!

this is a master piece but it is a little addictive and very fun also it kinda helps with the brain also this is going to be a long essay so sit down and relax so first I love the graphics of the game and I also like when I beat my brothers in the game they got 3000 and i got 5000 and that makes it fun. This is going to be the most honest review too. So the bad things is it can get too addictive for others and I think that is not good. I love when I am in a sticky situation and have too find a good place to put the blocks. Also when the whole board is clear you get 300 points but I think it should be 400. You guys did very good of creating the game. I never tried the adventure mode yet so I will try it so that makes the game not boring with just playing classic mode, my brothers are also addictive. But when I am in the car or airplane then it will become the best time too play block blast. Also I think playing block blast is great on the bus leaving school because you can try too beat your friends and that what makes it really really fun Thank you for listening too my essay and I think block blast is going to be the most popular game in the next couple of years maybe months.

Dear block blast, the ad I saw you in was the best 30 second of my life and forever will be, although I didn't download you for about 10 ads the 11th one I just knew you were the one, has I typed in my Apple ID I was scared that if I ever downloaded you I might just never let you go, and now here we are here, although it's only been together for 2 months, I just know that you're the one for me, you've always been there for my highest and my lowest, when I felt down you were always their to help me feel better, even if I was angry or upset you calmed me down, i tell you my secrets and you tell me yours I trust you with my life and soul, every night when I close my eyes and rest my head on the pillow I turn to look at you lying down next to me and I think how much I love you, how much I want to have your kids and how much I want to call you mine forever, on cold nights when my phone is dead I call out your name wishing you hear my cry's for you I can't bear the fact that I can't feel your warmth on my hands...you my love are the missing block to my puzzle...

Dear block blast this game is genuinely so addictive that I have gone 3 consecutive days without sleep and my children are loosing braincells because I haven’t taken them to school because I can’t play block blast and drive so I had to chose the better option(play block blast) this game made my wife stop loving me because I can’t stop playing and I have managed to grow a sexual relationship with these beautiful colored tiles I have dreamt of these pieces in my dreams while I was dreaming in my dream I have consumed 3lbs of ecstasy to stay awake and communed this glorious game known as block blast and it has completely ruined my life but atleast I can get 10k without major struggle my phone has multiple cracks from where I drop it in my hissie fits whilst playing there is no reason I should get 3 consecutive pieces that done a line at 300 score this is absolutely insane I can’t stand this but I can’t let go of it it’s my life now and I have printed out and taped every little freaky tile I get whilst playing this game I despise it but I can’t stop it’s like gambling but I’m on a constant losing streak I want to sell my vital organs on the black market just so I can purchase the block blast company just to delete all the information just so it doesn’t exist any more 5 stars though because I got over 20k 2 days ago

i love block blast
as a almost adult with no social media, block blast is a life saver when you are bored. you can play it on the plain, on the train, in the car, at school, in your bed, while watching outer banks.. although i have other games on my phone ( roblox, game pigeon, etc.) i almost always click on block blast first. block blast encourages you to get a new high score every time you play it. I am currently at the high score of 20,984 but i’m still trying to beat that (which is hard and also easy).
If you ever die but you’re almost there? BLOCK BLAST HAS REVIVES!!! I use them all the time and ppl at my school judge me for that, but like how do you think i got that high score in the first place?? And my dad and mom almost divorced over block blast cause my dad was to obsessed with it and then he got my mom obsessed with rut and now we’re homeless…
But anyways, block blast helps me keep my mind off the cold when ever i’m outside hoping someone is kind enough to give me food or water or money.
