Almost perfect
The mechanics, visuals and sound effects of this game are far beyond any matching game I’ve played before (such as Bejeweled or CC). If you like BTS and cute things, even better. Besides the puzzle itself, there are so many other activities, such as world building, socializing with other players and a story line to follow. The addition of social functions like clubs and forums are a brilliant addition. Kudos to the creative team and developers for all of this. I’m taking off one star for the super aggressive monetization campaign. In my opinion, this game preys on the loyal fan base by constantly teasing them with in game purchases. It’s one thing to offer things for a couple bucks here and there. But the purchases that are regularly pushed are more in the range of $15, and there’s even a $99 purchase for die hard players. I would imagine that the majority of players are younger and not necessarily financially stable or independent yet… it just feels money grubbing and corporate.Show lessteppi-stella
This game turned me into a BTS fan
This game is one of the ways I do self-care. Life is stressful but visiting the island in the seom is a way for me to relax and recharge. I was originally not a fan of BTS—I knew about them but didn’t really care too much either way. I really like match-3 games and because I was currently struggling with being stuck on a stage in another game, I thought I’d download Island in the Seom to try. I was instantly hooked. The in-game characters of the BTS guys are just too adorable. I wanted to develop their island and make them happy. And then I started to find out more about the real-life BTS…and now i consider myself new ARMY. I love hearing the songs in the game, and it would be awesome if there were actual BTS members’ sound bites in the games. Also some of the really good clothes are only available for purchase. This game could not be cuter & any chance to hang out with the guys is a win for ARMYs but it’s very difficult to pass levels without power ups which aren’t very available without spending lots of real money… there should be an option to watch ads and if you acquire a power up that is on a timer, it should stop counting down when you force close the game.. we aren’t always able to keep playing in the moment.. it would also be more fair if after you use your last turn, the remaining power ups on the board activate so you have a last chance to clear the level… I would definitely play more if it didn’t seem so stacked against the player 💜Show lessAccioPixie196
