Weather patterns pls
This game has been my life lately, definitely love it. A few things I'd like to give feedback on:
- weather changes, like gloom or rain, night skies rainbows etc should be incorporated.
- more challenges could be provided.
- it’s pretty difficult to earn coins, they aren’t easily attainable. It’s easier to budget once you get the hang of using the same item in different challenges, but I think if I didn’t put out some real $$ to begin with that I wouldn’t have had as much fun playing because of how many diamonds/coins things can be..compared to the earning ratio.
I’m really hoping to see this game expand and grow without blending in with other apps and becoming more social or ad focused. I think there’s a good balance of social aspect as it’s not overwhelming though it’s a big part of the game. Keep on pushing garden joy!Show lessSMC C
A fun little garden game!
I love plants and was looking for a fun little garden and landscaping game. I found it! This game is lots of fun and I personally enjoy learning a little about the plants too. All that the plants they include are all real species. I like also that you don’t have to buy anything for this game to play. I don’t mind purchasing a game I like, but in some other games
it’s almost as if you get to a point where you can’t play anymore unless you buy something. This one’s a keeper for me. If you’re a plant lover, you’ll want to give this one a try!Show less#truejoy

But I’m here to say that I really enjoy this game. It’s all about design rather than playing side games to receive coins and diamonds. You get the coins by voting (which getting a good rating is the whole point of designing) and designing, and the diamonds you receive through leveling up, getting a rating of 4.0 or higher, and simply signing in once a day. I appreciate that you don’t have to watch ads and play a ton of mini games. Oh, and every level is super customizable, unlike a lot of other design games that only give you a few options. Lots of new options come with level unlocks with the ability to purchase using fore-mentioned coins and diamonds.Show lessA.Nicole95
The Voting is Rigged and takes The Joy out of the game
This game would be perfect except for the inexplicable voting system which penalizes you by denying prizes. I could care less about the scoring, which is ludicrous, but greatly resent not getting the reward. If you get a 3.99 or lower you get nothing. Day after day I get three scores in a row- two 3.99 or under, and one perfect 5! How is this possible? I have complained repeatedly to the developers who say the voting is done by players . Your design is compared randomly with one other for the entire voting process, allegedly. If this is true , how can both designs often end up with scores BOTH below a 4, and conversely, BOTH end up with a perfect score of 5 ? Even I know this is mathematically impossible and obviously rigged to deny the rewards and force you to spend money. Shame on the developers who have ruined what otherwise would have been a close to perfect game, and yes, I am a fabulous gardener.Show lessCyn4500
RIGGED VOTING ruins the game
GJ is fun… for awhile. But the voting system eventually takes the fun out of it. It is obviously an algorithm and some people, usually bc they spend more money, get more opportunities for their gardens to be seen and voted on, no matter what they look like. There are gardens with just tons of mismatched junk everywhere and some gardens with almost nothing and yet both get almost a score of 5 (the best score) bc they are in the most rotation. And bc you have to vote on one or the other and can’t vote no on both, people who spend more and use more get way better scores than the rest.
And not for nothing, GJ just does the same layouts over and over again, which after awhile playing, you recognize and it becomes boring.Show lesscitizen_rowe
NEEDS UPDATES!!!!!!
First I have to say, this is a fun and relaxing game.
HOWEVER, it’s seems more based on having to be on FB.
There are not chatting for us of those whom AREN’T ON FB.
It seems the voting will not allow the people who are not on Facebook to get high scores. Can you please explain to me how the voting process works?
A lot of the pictures are almost identical to pictures before and it starts to become a repetitive same picture no new items to put in and all the same items and everything you have to buy to at least be up in the 4.0 range. I would like to see an update where we all can play together and nobody’s better than the other just because they’re on Facebook. if improvements are not made, I’m going to have to look for a better app that will attend to people who are not on social media.
Please fix so the rest of us can have just as much fun and enjoyed new adventures every day.

Review keeps disappearing….
UPDATE: over it for a while. First thing this morning I look at my inbox. Then (as usual) I go to voting - this is the required process or I can’t watch ads for diamonds. I rate 3 - THREE -designs and get the popup that I have received my voting rewards for the day! Not even 3 rounds! So of course I go to try and watch ads for diamonds and get the “Videos not available “ pop up message which is their way of saying “bite me go do some designs and then I will have ads” so I go and do a quick and dirty ugly daily design and go back to diamonds and voilà I CAN WATCH ADS! I have tested this several times and it is consistently true. If we have to do certain tasks to be allowed to vote/watch ads just say so!
Frustrating game: 1. Ratings make no sense. Is voting always against the same 2? If so how do some sets both get 5 stars? 2. Review option needs a skip option for when both options are awful 3. Needs a lower bar for awarding stars 4. Needs ability to actually design instead of forcing items to use 5. Needs cheaper items to purchase and non diamond options for every type! 6. Need higher limits on coins via voting and diamonds via ads and stop with the “No ads available “. Grass Stains on my knees and dirt on my hands!
And…I’m still on the couch! This app has become my only addiction since the long-ago beginnings of FarmVille. Garden Joy truly is a joy and is a way for this disabled lady to create beauty once again. If you enjoy gardening, colors, and making something lovely from almost nothing pre-set…this is a must have! Overall this is relaxing and I like it but they could use to add some things to it to make it work better. I was doing a design and had added the wishing well in one of the spots and then tapped on another and it added a wishing well to that spot too and I didn’t want one in the other spot so when i went back to tap it again to remove it like you do on all the others it would not remove it, it was removing all the other things around it so i went to where the other one was and tapped on it and it would not remove either just the other plants or things around it would be removed frustrating to want to change one or two of the items or remove it and cant. They should really have a clear icon for people to be able to clear it all out and restart the process again when they are unable to tap the icon to remove it. So i had to submit my design with two wishing wells in it that looked goofy and now gonna not get a good score because the game would not work it was like that item was froze, even tried shutting off my phone and restarted it to see if that would work and nothing. Then there is not even a way to report issues with the game or app without exiting the game or app. Please fix.Show lessfjsjsjvdkrkqksickskxiao
