  • Great game

Love it and yes addictive. It does get to a point where you need to spend some real money, but so far and after three weeks I have not done that yet.
I love learning about the plants would love it if somehow you could save plant information to a favourites or something for use in the real world.
  • Definitely one of the best games to download

Absolutely love this game, very addictive and gets the creative juices following! Great rewards and incentives, and easy to earn diamonds and money to buy what you need! Also if you do want to spend real money, it’s very good value.

Only notes for developers, and these are purely for my own requests for improvements and enjoyment:

    1. Need more flooring and wall options, a bit limited with options.
    2. Need more coin options for wall and flooring. Too many are diamond options only.
    3. Need more decor options.
    4. Need more tree options.
    5. Need more fountain options.
    6. Need more pot and vase options.
    7. Ensure matching sets available for chairs/benches and sofas at the same time.
    8. Have more daily rewards options, e.g like watching videos or achieving more tasks.
    9. Easier and more effective ways to add friends. For example, if you click someone’s profile, you should have options to add friends, rather than me having to go and search their name to add them that way. Also being able to add Facebook friends. I’m nervous to contact address book as it states it will send out a text, not sure if this means you will send out to my contact list, or just to me?

Apart from my above requests for better enjoyment, well done on an awesome app!

  • Pushes woke agenda

I deleted as they pushed the alphabet mafia month on everyone. Heavily DEI and expensive to keep playing and buying gems. Pay to play. And won’t delete the account after giving all the requested info. Uncooperative.
  • they punish paying customers thru unfair voting system

Ever wonder why a mismatched or unattractive garden, devoid of rugs, fountains, etc can score higher than yours. I actually lost sleep over the fact that I could not figure out what I was doing wrong! Well, Garden Joy uses the $$$ value of your garden to decide who you go up against… so if you use fountains, rugs, bigger trees, nicer tiles, etc… your garden will go against one that cost about the same amount… meaning, a nicer garden, made by someone with more experience. If your garden is void of costly items, it stands a better chance of scoring higher because it gets voted against a skimpier garden. Basically, garden joy gives the advantage to those who refuse to spend any money on their app and they punish people who truly believe it’s a game worth investing in. Don’t know why they are so unfair… or why their process is not random… maybe we should all stop spending money on their app… so they learn to appreciate their paying customers. When you think about it… it’s sort of like being in an abusive relationship… the more you give, the more they take, and the less they care about how they make you feel. IDK… seems like a terrible way to run a company. lol

    Developer Response

Hi there! We're so sorry to hear that. Please reach out to our support team regarding your missing purchase here: https://scopely.helpshift.com/hc/en/56-garden-joy/ by using the chat bubble at the bottom right. They should be able to help you out!
  • Freeloaders

My daughter and I have been experiencing freeloaders as partners in the special challenges. They sit there and do nothing or contribute very little like they are expecting other people to give them a free ride so they can get all the prizes. It's disgusting. They let us spend the money so they can reap the benefits. I wish there was a way to delete or substitute with a different partner when it's apparent after the first day these freeloaders don't want to help build the bouquets or the glass or whatever the challenge is. I write their designer number or name down to make sure I never get taken advantage of during the next challenge. It's a fun game, very time-consuming, and can run up your credit card in no time. The items are unrealistically priced even if it is fake money. I will be backing off come summer. Otherwise I would get nothing else done and be a literal couch potato.

Update: had another freeloader with the ice cream challenge. There should be a way to delete a partner who doesn't contribute. I wanted to report her but couldn't find her when I searched. I have no idea how she found me, but she invited me so you would think she would contribute. I won't be burned again. I'm done. Some of these people have obviously out their heads together to scam those of us who spend real money so they can benefit without spending anything or doing any of the design work. The game is a bank account drain anyway.

  • Good educational but addictive game

This game is fun, educational but additive as you have to watch videos etc to get points to buy plants, benches, table decorations etc you have to watch a lot to earn enough points to create good designs to level up. You get points for each garden design, voting on others designs and returning each day too.
It’s annoying as when you follow the tasks to earn points random websites appear ie Temu advert and you don’t get the points and Wise Dime does not let you watch on the suggested websites so you don’t get the points and have to do redo and you spend 10 minutes doing the survey to get 3000 points and it crashes out half way :( more development needed please. Thanks

  • Love it

Challenging, rewarding and addictive. I watch the clock for when the next challenge becomes available. I have only been playing a few weeks, but they seem to always bring in new things. I have bought in game items and this is the only game where I have ever done that, but I find it so enjoyable, that I think it is worth it. It would be nice if there were instructions on how the game works and how you aquire diamonds, because I bought items (using in game coins and diamonds) on things that I probably wouldn’t have by mistake - trying to work out what did what. All in all though, I love this game.

  • Awesome platform for garden designs

I started this game because of InboxDollars. I really didn’t have any expectations and didn’t much plan to play it after the rewards timeframe, but I love it so much. It give me a way to be creative, challenge myself, meet new folks, and I’ve even found great podcasts and earned diamonds for doing it! So all in all, I will absolutely be playing this for a long time. And that makes me quite happy because, I played Redecor for a long time and I really enjoyed the interior design aspects for that one. And if Garden Joy, I’m even learning the names of plants and can spot them out and recall what they are because of this game.
I totally recommend it, you won’t regret it especially if you have a green thumb, love gardening, want to learn the names of plants, or even find out interesting things like wasabi is an aquatic flower that looks very similar to a lotus. So it’s a learning experience as well and a challenge for your mind!

  • Fun game that feels like you’re up skilling

I love this game. It feels like I’m learning landscaping and design skills. Loving it
  • So good except one thing

I love this go there are no adds and it is so fun and realistic. But when I click on my old design to see my results (it says results ready) it doesn’t come up with how many stars I got.
Anyways, can someone please let me know how to see it?!? Thanks, definitely recommend downloading this game!
