Disappointed beware!
Horribly disappointed with this app because it has so much potential, but they are doing nothing to remedy their on going issues. Number one It’s a money grab. You get to design the outside of various places from around the world. The image quality in the scenery is lacking. The items you have to buy with coins you earn or these diamonds that you end up having to pay for if you ever want to get enough of them to use to decorate with or you have to wait it out or participate in watching commercials or buying things which sometimes have not paid me when I’ve wasted my time on them. They seem to have a support team who will answer your complaints. but nothing is ever fixed or solved and they just put you off to the next person who says nice things but once again nothing is fixed. I would not recommend spending your time or money here. I thought it was going to be a learning experience about plants and gardening, but instead I’ve seen people plant banana trees and rose bushes in the middle of a hot desert and score high on their star ratings. Their items are not even sized properly and end up too big or too small to be seen but you have to use them in order to advance. I’ve not learned anything from my experience except to never spend any money or time on these apps!Show lessDesign bye
Love the concept, but app is glitchy and ruins the experience
UPDATE: first, I just submitted a design for ‘an intimate Savannah garden’ which had 2 requirements. However to fulfill one it was a pink icon. I thought pink were optional? The glitchiness continues. I’ll click on an item, and it will jump to another item. I’ve also noticed that playing this causes my tablet to get very hot, which I suspect is what is contributing to the glitches. If I stop playing for a few minutes, when I return the glitches are gone, temporarily. It probably takes about 10 minutes longer to submit a design just in dealing with the glitches. Note, this is the only app that I use in which my tablet gets hot. And, this happens within a few minutes of starting.
ORIGINAL: I’d actually consider buying the monthly pass, and I never purchase in-app things for games. But I won’t do it while the app performance is so bad. I’ve had the following happen every time I play: 1. App freezes, only solution is to restart my tablet, and I am up to date on my software. 2. While ‘shopping’ for an item, it randomly moves to another item. Example, scrolling through ground cover, and it changes to flooring. Get it back to ground cover, try to scroll to next grouping and it changes to shrub. Then can’t get back to ground cover because it froze. In the last item I submitted it took several minutes to choose one item as this kept happening.Show lessPuzzler4378

Have been playing for a few weeks now … really enjoying it but I,wish we could buy some things that didn’t require diamonds or that things were a little cheaper when using diamonds

Gardening without a garden
I’m enjoying this game so far. I like rating other gardens and designing my own especially as I don’t have a real live garden.
The graphics are good, and the choice of plants is great. Have only just started so hopefully it stays enjoyable and I don’t have to buy everything that comes along.Naturerules

Loving this. So relaxing. I will say tho, it’s sometimes a bit difficult because the requirements mean you can enter the garden comp that’s there if you haven’t got much plants etc. if you make in app purchases then great, but if you dont then it’s super difficult coz you dont have the requirement item.Show lessLicklelisahappy
OBSESSED…
This is the best outdoor design app since the invention of the smartphone…I’m a little challenged when it come to complicated apps but this app was sooooo thoughtfully engineered to make it super simple to take advantage of all the exciting features…growing plants from seeds at the tap of a button, changing plants and features, joining a little plant club and of course voting for other people’s designs. Just marvellous tool to relax and share with my loved ones.Show lessNztracie
Good fun
Although , like all games ,you can pay to advance your playing, you can(like me) have a fun game without paying. This is important to me as I am retired and have no money to spare unfortunately. Gardening is a passion for me but hard work, but it is lovely to arrange plants in this game, so thank you 🙏, Maggie.Show lesswine drinker.
Needs a few improvements
This game is fun to play but needs a couple more bundle pack deals. The recent strawberry parfait game you play with three other people should have been programmed to auto match you with an active player within the last three hours and come with the option to find a new partner should they not contribute within 12 hrs. I could not get anyone to accept my last parfait partner request until 9 hrs left. I was limited by not enough designs available to complete my last parfait too causing me to lose out on the grand prize. I had done all designs available and had to wait hours between new designs to appear and final day was even more limited on design availability. I would complete a design then had to wait a couple hrs for the next and then had to wait 5 and a half hours for the next design that needs to change or more time in an event needs to be added.Show lessErikaR71
Enjoyable
Lots of plants, trees and other wonderful items to decorate areas.
First game I spend money to buy more items to decorate my garden,
It’s a bit addictive and that’s why you spend money cos lots of items can only be purchased if you have Diamonds to buy them and the catch is a lot of the items are only able to be bought with diamonds instead of coins.
This way you can’t complete your garden unless you spend money to buy the diamonds.
Not sure how much longer I’ll play as it’s starting to cost a bit more than I want to spend.
