Description of TxCOPE
TxCOPE saves lives. This app enables members of the community to report overdose incidents that occur in Texas that may otherwise be unreported, particularly in cases when 911 is not called, an overdose is not readily apparent, or if the person who experienced the overdose does not go to the hospital. Having better data on the full extent of the overdose crisis, such as knowing when and where overdoses are happening, will allow for a better public health response, resource allocation, and prevention efforts, which will ultimately save lives.
