MobileSheets for iPad User Reviews

I moved from Forscore to Mobile Sheets

Having recently discovered that Mobile Sheets is now available for iPad I emded up moving all my music over from Forscore. Why? Partly because it has many more features that Forscore. For example there are more options for organising Pdfs, amd itโ€™s very easy to assigned multiple audio tracks to one song. Partly also because the app is really well designed and I found far more intuitive to use. For example, the menus are context dependent so what you need is always easy to see (rather than dumping everything into one long menu). The clincher for me as someone who uses online music schools is that it provides a very easy way to organise my pdfs into courses and lessons, so that they are easy to find.

Not user friendly

This app is very difficult to figure out. I spent hours today uploading over 100 pieces of music and then the app crashed. All the songs I have EVER uploaded are just gone. There are so many promised features that we were never able to use because we simply could not find them in the app. Extremely disappointed.

Response from developer

I'm so sorry to hear that you encountered those problems! I'm always happy to help if you email me at mike@zubersoft.com. More tutorial videos are being released over time, but I can point you to any features you need access to. It should be possible to recover your library too, depending on the nature of what happened. It's very rare to experience data loss like that. If you are still interested in using the app, please contact me and I'll do my best to help. Mike

Great & Looking Forward to Seeing Improvements

It has great features and Iโ€™m loving it so far. My 4 Star rating is because the app is limited to only PDFs. We need to be able to add Word Docs, images, and other types of files.

Best of the best

There are other good sheet music apps out there for iPad -- forScore and OnSong being a couple of noteworthies -- but MobileSheets is hands-down not only the most feature-rich, but the most compatible and the most economical, with the most responsive support I've ever experienced -- and I've been around awhile. MobileSheets is available for iPadOS/macOS (Apple Silicon), Windows, and Android, and runs exactly the same on all of them, with full feature parity. No other sheet music app does that. If you're a musician, do yourself a huge favor and get this app!

Switched away from forScore after trying MobileSheets

Yes, yes, yesโ€ฆ.this get everything right, specially for those who anything more than just turning the page. It is โ€œtour readyโ€ for tech heavy setups as well as being really simple to use if you just need basic song and setlist management and display.

Brilliant!

Cross Platform and easy Sync

Iโ€™ve been waiting for this and itโ€™s every bit as good as Iโ€™d hoped. Brilliant, many thanks.

First Class

I now have all the music for different bands I play in reproduced even better than the original manuscripts, and really well organised. Amazing customer support from the developer who I exchanged emails with about some features that I thought would enhance the App. The new music scanning facility is first class, and with such good customer focus Iโ€™m sure the App will continue to get even better.

Mobile Sheets Pro (MSP)

Always used Mobile Sheets Pro on aMicrosoft surface.

It worked very well and was happy with it.

Through work I acquired an iPad and decided to try MSP on it.

Everything worked flawless. From syncing Libraries to writing in scores with the Spen.

WIth the 12.9 pro being almost letter size, I find myself using the tablet in portrait mode 99% of the time.

Highly recommend MSP.

Does everything but play the music for you...

...& it'll even do that for you if you have an mp3 attached to the pdf file so you can practice even if you don't play an instrument! MobileSheets for iPad (& Win, Android) does so much more than merely organize your music pdf's. It also allows metadata storage to aid in searches, allows BT connection to a page turner to keep hands free for playing an instrument and even has means of turning pages for a whole ensemble by setting up slave devices that follow the actions of the master device. Whatever you need for your music ministry, let the developer know, & he'll do his best to add the request for future development. I can now carry my entire music library on one device!

So glad I switched

Addresses all the issues I had with forScore. More importantly the MobileSheets developer is far more open and responsive to feedback.
