  • Sad to see what the series has come to

It’s all in the title this is just another pay to progress shadow of a game
  • Nice game but more guides when big steps are made in the game.

The Ages of Caesar has good city building mechanics and fun, at times, frustrating battles.

Plan to play for a few days and then mothball until the next stage is sorted out.

The problem myself, and others had was when we emerged from the training world and into the next world… there was nothing to battle! Somewhere there is, but no-one how or where. And then the city building went out of balance.

Everyone restarted again on the second game provided. It’s good enough to repeat.

I still don’t know where to battle after three days of looking, poking, thrusting, and asking. I’m now bored… and no easy quick guides from the creators or fans.

The city building has many well designed aspects and when compared to others, is fun. Some balance of the mechanisms could make it a great game, like making it easier to export and new units aren’t built in hostile land when from the vault…etc etc

The battle mechanics are fun and make sense. And some unclear parts are soon cleared up at the start by experimenting.

The ads aren’t invasive but it is a pay to compete model.

  • Good game

It’s a good game but they don’t have a lot of new players sticking around so your city is going to be pretty empty after 2 weeks of playing. It’s also really annoying to spend multiple hundreds of items to upgrade one of your production building just to earn +1 total storage on that building. Other than that it’s a fun game
