We’ve updated our signup flow for a faster experience. This includes a redesigned Plans screen to clearly show the differences between StockPick Premium and Basic. Additionally, Basic users will now see in-app updates when they run out of free sessions. These updates inform Basic users when their free sessions will reset, as well as what they can access by upgrading to Premium.

This is a small update for us, focused on improving your experience. While most of these are “behind the scenes,” one change you might notice is how subtitles are displayed on News videos.

In this update, we’ve improved StockPick’s search and explore functions and made small changes to the home feed. These improvements were based on user feedback (so thank you!) Explore: we’ve redesigned the explore screen to make it easier to browse videos. Quickly scan new videos using carousels grouped by topics, like Equity Research, News, or Stock Picks. Previously, the Explore screen was a single video list sorted by recency. Search: we’ve consolidated search from three to two tabs, removing the hashtag-specific search. Now, hashtags are considered in standard video searches for a streamlined experience. Search results: we’ve updated our search function to better serve you relevant content. Previously, some search queries would pull up older videos above current ones. Now, search results are more timely and relevant. Home feed: we’ve consolidated videos from our creator community into a “Creator” channel. Tapping into Creators offers up sub-tabs, including stocks, economy, and education, for more granularity. Free and Premium videos: We’ve added tags and banners throughout the app to help you better identify videos available on each StockPick plan. As before, all users continue to receive 3 free Premium sessions per month.

In this update, we’ve improved the user interface and navigation across many screens: profiles, notifications, explore, and video creation. Notifications: we’ve added a “New” and “Last 30 Days” headline, making it easier to catch up on what you’ve missed. Previously, all notifications appeared in a single list, with the newest at the top. Profile screen: We’ve reduced the thumbnail size and moved to a horizontal layout so you can see more videos at once. It’s also now easier to view and save videos, right from the profile. Explore: similar to profile improvements, we’ve tightened up the explore screen so it’s easier to browse and view videos. Create Video: We’ve made it easier to add or update video descriptions with a full-screen interface to add your descriptions (up to 2,000 characters). Previously, you needed to scroll to see longer descriptions.
