  • Totally unreliable service

My son and Iive in Brighton and taking a bus from Centre Mall is the only way for him to get home. He books his bus usually the evening before he travels and he’s REGULARLY stranded at the mall for 1/2 hr to an hour or more! Many times it’s without ANY notice from transit. Absolutely unacceptable service, but we have no choice, other than me traveling 40 minutes round trip from work to pick him up, or taking a very expensive Uber or taxi. Sincerely, why bother booking, when the bus rarely if ever shows up on time? I guess that’s what we get when the service to book isn’t even located in Saskatoon?

  • Driver drove past me

I was supposed to get picked today at Brighton gate. I was early and waiting for the bus. The bus didn’t stop whatsoever and driver drove right past me. It’s sad that I always see this buses in Brighton area yet my ride never gets accepted. The driver marked me late yet he didn’t even bothered to stop. This is really upsetting .

  • most horrible experience in existence

if you’re looking for the most horrendous transit experience in your life, then you’ve come to the right place! not only are the buses dirty, stinky, and tiny, but they take an extremely long time to get you anywhere! you want a ride for 10am? sorry! no rides till 12:30! (even if you try booking ahead). need a ride home at 3? sorry. no more buses today. even though the “service hours” are until 6pm. even though the bus always has a maximum of 5 people on it (usually all heading to and from the same neighbourhood), the bus drives around aimlessly for like an hour before taking you to your actual destination. the bus will say its arrival time is 10am, and then will show up at 9:35 without notice until it’s at the bus stop and leave you stranded without a ride for another three hours because somehow you were unable to predict that the bus would arrive 25 minutes earlier than the listed time. the drivers are miserable and won’t even say hello. sometimes they’ll stop and get out to smoke cigs at a stop for like 25 minutes and if you ask them when you’re getting to your destination they just look at you like you’re insane for thinking that they’d do their job. the saskatoon transit system is an actual joke and is so incredibly poorly run and inconsistent. every old fart that works for the city has clearly never had to take transit in their life or else they would be able to tell within 10 minutes how horrible it is.
