Nice idea, community doesn’t seem to follow
Unlike other home sharing apps, this one seems to simply be another Airbnb copy instead of a true exchange app. The methods for finding “prices” are reading through descriptions and sending messages which is highly inconvenient. If it were truly a cost-basis home sharing app this wouldn’t be so much of a concern but people seem to be charging way over rent+.Show lessantiautomation

I love MyPlace. Sharing my home has not only allowed me to have multiple homes and travel cost effectively by sharing other’s homes, it’s a real community - you’ll make friends too. Come for the home sharing, stay for the people.michaelsaloio
Home on the road
For some such as myself who’s life is primarily spent on the road, finding MyPlace has been a god send. The constant changing of location, bouncing from hotel to Airbnb to hotel, starts to leave one feeling a bit alone and disconnected from others.
