My Health Story presents the unique lived experience and helps time-poor practitioners guide patients through health-first decision-making. There are two ways to subscribe and use My Health Story: – The $49 subscription entitles you to use My Health Story online and/or on handheld devices and to sync, store and protect your information across all your devices for one year. – The $29 subscription entitles you to use My Health Story Lite, a more compact App-only version (for handheld devices only) for one year. My Health Story is a fully functioning website and App that communicates the unique lived experience. It empowers the patient to take a more holistic approach to their care. It also works as an asset to time-poor practitioners, presenting them with an effective way to tailor care to the individual’s experience. MY HEALTH STORY BACKGROUND Over the past 15 years, Soula has been using her chronic pelvic pain experience to advocate and provide an insight into the need for a new approach to living with an ongoing illness. Soula’s communication ability has stemmed from decades of professional creative experience with her company, ooi which she owns with her husband, Theo. These two personal and professional experiences have amounted to the creation of My Health Story. Designing various communication media such as publications, websites, corporate identity, events, and much more for health-focused organisations has given Soula and Theo great insight into chronic health issues such as mental health, dementia, aged care and trauma. My Health Story was originally founded as PainTrain – My Health Summary by Soula Mantalvanos after she developed chronic pain following an accident. My Health Story is an engaging, safe and innovative way for patients to generate and store their personal health experience. ‘I want to empower people facing ongoing health issues. Understanding a personal experience is key to receiving the best quality of care. It is also very distressing to have to repeat a long history.’ she said. It was soon apparent that Soula’s novel health summarising idea for pain management could be expanded to help people living with other chronic health conditions such as Stroke, Dementia and aged care. So, in 2021 Soula decided to rebrand PainTrain My Health Summary to My Health Story.
