Significant battery drain and sync issues

The app is inadequate. First off, it drains the phone battery. At least 50% of my battery usage is from this app even when not in use. Secondly, the sync does not work often. This is a major issue. Third, the service history at certified Harley dealer doesn’t show up. The app needs a lot of work for an expensive bike. Bike is great. App is not helpful.

Love it!

Works well so far, no complaints!

Major phone battery hog

Opened app to monitor bike charging. My phone battery was LOSING charge while plugged into charger. Opened settings/battery and at the top of the list for usage was the Livewire S2 app. The only way to stop the drain was to close the app and restart my phone.

Needs more work

The latest update improves the appearance of the app, but it still tells me where I am instead of the location of the bike.

App doesn’t work for s2 Mullholand

Tried pairing with my bike many times and in different places with no luck. Every time I try the app throws the same “Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later.” error.

Not updating

The app doesn’t update for days if not weeks . Can that be fixed?

Target charge percentage

This app should allow user to control bike charge settings. I have used other apps (Rivian) where you can set a schedule and charge percentage target. It is tedious to constantly be changing the target charge percentage by scrolling through to the very last screen page in the settings menu on the actual bike to make that adjustment. At least have the option on the initial settings screen so we don’t have to scroll to the last choice. I have to do this twice daily and have to physically plug it in after 9pm every night. Other apps have all these controls conveniently on the app, no need to plug unplug and use the bike menu. This and fixing the “fuse pull reboot” when the app stops syncing would make this a 4 star app. Thank you!

Stopped updating charge/range

The app has slowly been improving since it’s launch, but it refuses to show the correct and battery level in the app.

App needs to be smarter

Nice interface, but lacking some basic and important information.

The app will show and tell your how much psi you have in your tires but it won’t tell you what the warning light/ indicators are if they appear in your dash.

I spent way too much time trying to look at the owners manual for the most basic information and meaning.

Some suggestions (please consider them):

It would be great if the app had these sections:

- shows current dash status and meaning
- symbol/indicator index.
- current diagnostics and meaning
- diagnostic number index

Last but not least, the bike location is off (about two blocks) when I have it parked.

The bike is smart, but the app needs to be just as smart.

Location is off

Huge improvement being able to tell if an over the air update is available. Unfortunately the location tells me where I am and not the motorcycle.
