Almost 80% of the things I want to check (protein bars and “healthy” snack bars with high fiber, low sugar and carbs (hopefully) aren’t in the database. I can only scan so many for them.
Overall it seems like a great app and unlike many, it seems like it may help diabetics more than many of the others. Just wish the database was better.Show lessTom Steele

Do not use this app for allergen detection. Most of the companies manufacture their products on equipment that process allergens. There is no legal limit of how much allergen can be present in your food Even if it is not listed in the ingredient list. Furthermore, these companies do not even test their products to see if allergen is present. This app is more dangerous than helpful. Way to go Sifter! This app will truly make healthy eating easy for everyone. It effectively does all of the time consuming work of reading labels and quickly matches my diet (diabetic, low-Fodmap, gluten free) to products I can eat. Thank You!ParkyOne

How did I ever shop without this tool! I am amazed at all the new types of foods I can eat and still stay on my diet!! So many more options, flavors and I am cooking more… precise, accurate and so fast! A must have. It’s like no other!dietcanwork!
Saves me so much time in the store
I’m dealing with multiple dietary issues, I’m diabetic, gluten free and dairy intolerant. This Sifter diet let me create my own unique diet of these three combined and now I just scan a product at the store and Sifter instantly tells me if this product meets my diet. So cool. I’m trying the Keto diet and this app makes it super easy to find food I can have. I was just scanning food in the aisle at the store and it was telling me what I can and can’t buy. Nice! Easy peasy! Who knows, I may stick to this diet if this app can make it easy for me. 👍🏻Frankieee
