  • Mixed feelings

I really struggle figuring out if I like this game. There is a lot of potential, but I don’t know if it actually “fun”. Ads pop up every 20 seconds or so which is super excessive. They offer a no ads mode for $10, but that makes you wonder if the game is worth $10. That is a lot of money. I literally just bought dying light on sale for $20 yesterday. Is this half as fun as that game?

I have played a lot of phone games and I understand they need to make money. Here are my thoughts: No ads that interrupt gameplay without the player triggering it, it breaks immersion. Every ad that is watched should have a good benefit attached to it. Make it so that these ads = a ton of gameplay time worth of success. I have played a few idle games that did this right where I wanted to watch the ads so much that the game could not generate the ads fast enough and I had to wait to the system to generate new ones for me. The best part is that I stayed engaged. Like I said, lots of potential here. I hope that this helps!

  • Fun Game, Horrible Ads

Now I’m all about playing this game. It’s fun, addicting and it’s an interesting concept that keeps me wanting to play more. With that being said the reason for the low rating is the ADs! They essentially pop up every 15 seconds, without notice, then run for 30 seconds depending on ad which some are longer. Some ads kick you out or lock your screen or try to force you to download them to continue. Even with restarting the app when an ad pops up by the time it loads you have 15 seconds to try to earn money before another ad comes up. Now I’m all about helping smaller company’s grow but for $9.99 plus tax I’m going to have to pass. Maybe a $2.99 choice yea. Very disappointing when a game turns out to be actually decent and they jam ads in your face.

  • Fun but not really worth it

It’s a fun game if you can get past the ads randomly showing up as you’re playing. So I decided to pay $9.99USD (before tax) to get rid of the ads. It got rid of the randomly occurring ones, but not the ones you need to watch for boosts. I’m used to games getting rid of all ads if I pay money, not just some. I know, small company, but it should be specified which ads are actually going away and not sound like you’re getting rid of all ads. Also the offline option doesn’t seem to work for me? I was offline over night because I was sleeping, got back on in the morning expecting to have made some money, and saw that not only did I not make any money, I was just as broke as I was before I fell sleep. If you’re supposed to be making X amount per minute while away, then you should make something over night, even if it was capped. So not seeing the prompt about how much I made while away, and not even getting the option to watch an ad to multiply my earnings, well, it was disheartening. Now, not to sound like that type of person, but I never write reviews for apps. If I don’t like it, I delete it. But never have I regretted spending money on an app as much as I did this one. With a high rating I wasn’t expecting it to pretty much scam you. And I don’t read reviews because it’s an app, I either like it or don’t, and it’s free to download. But I wished I did, maybe someone else had this problem and I could have avoided it and saved my money

  • Holy Ads

First of all, let’s stop pretending this is some indie game dev trying to put food on their table - the pinned review makes me sick. Azur Games is a large mobile game producer, they know what they’re doing and how to squeeze money out of players.

I can understand needing to run ads to support a free game, but the ads on this are more aggressive than anything I’ve ever seen. It basically makes the game unplayable. If you weren’t running so many interstitials, I’d actually consider the $10 to remove ads to more easily get bonuses, I’ve happily done that on other games. But the aggressive ads make me feel like I’m being extorted into it, I’m not gonna reward this kind of trashy approach with my money.

  • Spent money, got nothing.

I’ve never left a review before, but felt like I needed to for this. The game itself is fun and relaxing, which is what I wanted from a game like this. I wanted to support the developers so I spent the $10 to remove the ads, and yes this was also because the amount of ads I had to watch was, frankly, annoying. So, double bonus in spending the money. However, after spending that much money to remove the ads, I still have ads and no way to “restore purchases” or anything to get rid of them. Rip off and very frustrating when I thought I was supporting a good team.

  • Ads are outrageous

I understand that ads may be a necessity for the developers to afford to keep the lights on. HOWEVER, this game is not just ads-for-boosts like normal mobile games. I’m okay with “watch this ad to x3 your money” and I’m okay with an option to pay to disable ads (even if the price for that is WAY too expensive in this game).

But the fact that this game WITHOUT WARNING will randomly just shove an ad down your throat for doing NOTHING is absolutely ridiculous. You can literally just be swiping and tapping to pick up coins and have a 30 second long ad pop up on your screen. It’s literally quicker to just close the game and reopen it when this happens since you’re not losing anything by not watching the ad.

I refuse to participate in this style of predatory advertisement and I will actively be avoiding this company’s products forever until this is changed. I’m not sorry. The developers are scummy for doing it and I refuse to support them in any way because of their decision.

  • Fun game but the no adds thing is a rip off

I really enjoy this little game so I was happy to pay for an ad free experience. It’s not add free though, paying $9.99 is not a small fee for a mobile game and all it does is take away the pop up adds. You still have to watch ads for bonuses and the location of the bonus buttons on the side make it very easy to accidentally click them. As free should mean ad free period, games like pet shelter give an actual ad fee experience that should be the standard, their ad free upgrade gets rid of pop ups and when you get offered a bonus you just click the button and get it with out having to sit through an advertisement. At a price point of $9.99 this should be the same.

  • The only issue I have…

The only issue that I have for this game is the offline earnings. It says one thing but then I get a completely different number. I currently get 1500 per minute, and I didn’t play the game for a whole day, I should have gotten 2,160,000 coins but only got 64k. The numbers need to be fixed. 64,000 would only be 43 minutes and some change.

  • Ads even after paying to remove

I like the game, but I paid $10 to remove ads. Most games you pay around 2-4 dollars to remove ads so it’s very frustrating to pay $10 to still get random ads while clicking in the game. They aren’t short ads either. They are at least 30 seconds. These aren’t for any bonus or advancement in the game either… just random ads popping up. I wish I could get my money back for removing ads at $10 and still getting them often.

This game is PERFECT the ads pop up like every 5 minutes. Which is good so I get some work done and get a good break. My other games have ads pop up every 2 seconds WHICH IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. But I give this game a 30 stars out of 30 because it is the best out of any other game with ads. So thanks for putting this game in a ad.
