Minor inconveniences and poor user experience
Submitting requests is not a good process that fails most of time due to either incompatible photo types, system issues with access requirements, and insufficient ability to edit requests after submitted. Adding photos to a request is a key part of the audit trail when communicating with the landlord and this functionality purely does not work in a way that allows that communication. Further, the web portal has been required every time to submit photos where the web portal is an addition point of frustration given it is just a copy and paste of the poorly design mobile app.
Additionally, this app makes it very easy to pay as a group of tenants but why is there no ability to have a group chat between landlord and tenants. This causes additional friction in the communication process. It’s impossible to give all of the proper context as a single tenant living with multiple different tenants.
In terms of payment types, multiple option are given from debit card, to direct account linking, to credit cards where only a subset of these items actually work. Don’t add the option to link an account if that option is not actually usable.
Overall a very frustrating experience that I am being forced into using due to my landlord picking this as the communication platform. This application feels very landlord centric as payments and due dates of these payments are the only things that actually work well.
