Works great to commission wall connector
Had a local electrician install our wall connector Gen 3 and then I needed to commission. This app was flawless… after I figured out how to sign in! Simply use your Tesla account email and password.
Now more difficult for customers
It used to be possible for customer to set up their wall connectors vi IP address, the app has made this impossible?
Bad App
This app is beyond confusing for something that should be refined by now if this was a starting point in a company I get it but at this point in the game, it should be well on its way to perfection, especially for those of us that utilize the charger for home or business purposes Make it better make it more user-friendly make it more seamless. I keep getting locked out.

This app is only for employees
This app is only for employees but Tesla owners who change routers and change WI-FI are told to use it to get the wall connector to hook to new WiFi. But you can not use this app if you are not an employee. So Tesla owners have to pay an employee to come out to their house to change WiFi every time you change a router or change your internet service. We as owners of Tesla cars should be allowed to change our WiFi internet as often as we need to without becoming an employee or pretending to be one. This app doesn’t work to change my WiFi on my Tesla wall connector charger thing. But every time I try to change the network I get a pop up saying I have to do it on this app. Well it doesn’t work because I can’t sign in because I’m not an employee.

simple setup has been made complicated
I have already set it up using the IP address long back. It simply pulled up the configuration already done, but that form like asking millions of questions, asking to take lots of pictures we’re just annoying, waste of time..

What a useless app. This could be added to the actual Tesla app but no…. You have to actually deregister the charger every time you want to use the app, and you sure as hell have to keep the box for it. Honestly useless.

Horrible- What happened to the web?
Wall Connector. What happened to the web interface where I, as an owner / user could go in and change a setting? Such as changing what vehicle can plug in.
Before I could connect, go to the wall connector’s address and make the change needed. Go to that address now and it says to download this app.

Unable to use
Tried using the app to setup a universal wall connector. When I attempt to enter the setup the app freezes as soon as I click on the unit. Close and relaunch only to have the device not saved and have to try again with the same reesult.
