Genuine review from an active player.
This is a very repetitive game that gets boring after a while, it’s the same thing.. Go into a world, talk to people, and move on. You can make your own world, build stuff in it, but after a while it all just gets boring. There’s no real variety to it other than going to different peoples worlds.
From what I can tell there is no moderation in this game. you can click on a player to either block or report them, but that’s about it. There are no active moderators on this game, the only person who can ban a player is the dev himself who is already working on a different game. So I’d say at the moment, there is no true moderation. This is bad, because of course there are going to be edgy teenagers or young adults who will say some very bad, demeaning, and down right horrible things through the voice chat. Of course you can have thick skin and ignore it, but the issue is there are very, very young children who play this game. I’ve seen kids as young as 5 play this, so these people can and will influence them.
But all that isn’t all the game is, there are some very good people in the game. People such as Link boy, Nallak, Paris Mayor, those are all good people with kind hearts who play this game. Now, of course those people might quit. (This review was written March 4th 2023) But for the time being those are some people to look out for.
If you’re good at building then I most definitely recommend this. This game of course has heavy inspiration from Minecraft, so you can make your own world where you can build whatever you desire. There are some worlds in this game that have some of the coolest builds that take genuine time and effort to make.
The game itself seems to be dying, though. Recently there have been less and less worlds with people in it. Originally when this game was being advertised on the developers other game, there was a good stream of people joining and playing the game. However, that advertising has stopped. And there is no other marketing for this game, so those people who originally joined are slowly leaving, like me. Around late January to early February 2023 there were about 8-12 worlds on the top worlds chart at any given time. Now there’s about 1-4 at any given moment. The player base has most definitely fallen as well, as most of these worlds only have the creator in it.
Overall, I don’t see this game lasting much longer unless it starts getting advertised and marketed. It’s a fun game with potential. I personally believe it just needs a little more features or variety, some active moderators, and a good flow of people playing this game. For the moment, I rate this game 2/5 stars for all of its issues.
