App needs more attention

Not sure if the app is down or still underdeveloped. I’ve used it to plan and read reviews for my solo trips in the past, but this turn around I wanted to try it out on an actual group trip and it’s not the same. As a planner I was so excited for my friends to join the app thinking it would make planning easy. I’m honestly not sure what happening but can something be done, it’s freezing, tweaking, and It’s not showing messages in full. This app so such good potential, what needs to be done to develop this app more?

Travel planning perfection

I'm the mom of my friend group and always have been. I organize, I prep, I carry the extra sunscreen... literally everything. It can get exhausting being the one coordinating everything. When I tried Foresyte last fall, I thought it was great. I'm not sure when this happened, but recent updates have brought this thing to a whole new level of usefulness. My friends and I are planning a trip to New York in June, and when we reopened the app (first time in a while), we started finding itineraries prepared for us! It's all outlined for a three day trip. Booked, organized, done. This app makes planning so incredibly easy.

Hire a designer and new engineers

I’ve designed some of the biggest apps in the world and can confidently say you badly need to hire a designer. It’s terribly designed - onboarding needs to be split up. Drop the weird shadows, gradients, etc. Opening directly to a form is horrible for onboard - and then the form fields don’t have autocomplete enabled. Really really needs a designer 😅😅

The performance of the app is also unbearable. Everything lags. My hunch is that you used a subpar, cheap/outsourced engineer who used something like Flutter. It was an unfortunate choice 😭😭

Why?

This app made little sense to me. I decided that see what it was about and see what recommendations it would offer. I didn’t dive TOO much into it as I couldn’t mentally get past the fact whenever you wanted to see what a location had to offer, it forwarded you to a trip advisor website on your internet browser. That just didn’t make sense. It seemed to be marketed as an app where you can host a group chat and plan a vacation to a location with and collaborate ideas with one another, and maybe you can, I just didn’t get to it because having to go to trip advisor was a mental pain for me.

Hi JD - thanks for sharing your feedback. Foresyte's core competency is social travel planning, offering real-time itinerary collaboration, group chat, comments and more. The app helps you stay organized and connected when planning group trips or events. The Discover page is a fairly new feature that is intended to help you find the best places to stay and things to do around your city, based on the travel suggestions submitted by other Foresyte travelers. Not all cities have community suggestions to show just yet (we'll get there soon!), so we provide the option to visit our partners at Tripadvisor to browse their top choices for a destination as a backup option. We do have a confirmation page that pops up when you tap on this option to let you know that you're heading to Tripadvisor, along with the option to go back if you'd prefer to stay on the app. That said, this feedback is very helpful and our team is already working on a solution to better clarify how this all works when you view a city lacking community suggestions. Travel planning perfection

I’ve been using Foresyte for a few months now, and it just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely love the little pop up’s that guide you through adding a new adventure. The organizational aspects of the app are great - I’m usually the coordinator of my group, and being able to share everything, get feedback and plan activities together makes things so much easier. It truly is an all-in-one for group trips and adventures.

Saved my sanity

I'm the planner of my group and nothing stresses me out more than having to remind everyone about the same thing 20 times over again. Group chat inside of the trip itinerary is SO smart. I'm excited to see where this app goes next.

Collaboration and budgeting!!

Love the budget part of this app!! Really puts things down on paper getting everyone’s input planning a multi family vacation for next summer so glad to have found this app!!

Best Travel App Ever

My girlfriend and I have a busy season of weddings and golf tournaments coming. We starting using foresyte recently and it’s really taken stress out of knowing what plans we have and missing out on events on the itinerary. Please download this if you’re like me and need direction when planning travel or even simply your week!

Great app to get good deals of plans to travel or go places.

It has good recommendations of places to be at wherever you are. You can plan trips with family and friends and also budget right away. Gives you great deals and suggestions for places to stay as well that will be suitable for your budget. And if your an influencer, it has referral link that you can use and earn will you enjoy the app as well.
And you can also suggest hidden gems(places) , that you like with the app and other users as well 👍🔥 worth downloading 🤩
