Easy to get App up and running. Took just a few minutes for OBD reader to initialize, perhaps 3 minutes at most. Reader and app quickly found the faults I was chasing. I am not a shill, but we are buying one of these readers to keep in all of our vehicles’ gloveboxes.#1Psychodad

Tried with two different vehicles. The first one connected immediately - prompted me to update firmware, completed process, asked to restart, and nothing. No support to reach out to on app either. Will return item to AMZ.JamesCoApex

When you cannot connect to the car, you can upgrade the firmware to enhance compatibility. If it can be used normally, there is no need to upgrade. YMOBD needs to use your Bluetooth and location permissions to connect to OBD, and there are no other requirements.Won’t work on my 328i
Amazon said my car in my garage will work on this product and fits the car in my garage. Installed and required me to upgrade the app ?? Does this require me to use the pay version?Navy Doug

The APP can be used without paying. Please turn on Bluetooth and location as required, and open the APP to automatically connect and use it. Upgrade to the latest version of the APP to provide a battery detection function. Of course, it can be used normally without upgrading.
