Just finished the Mawson trail using the app as our only guide apart from town maps we picked up along the way .I always felt safe knowing I would not get lost using this app . Also great information along the way . I really liked knowing the history of what land we were on before arriving there. Great elevation profiles and places of interest and accom options . Good to see the Heyson huts available for use along the way as well. When using aeroplane mode meant my phone battery lasted so much longer .Show lessYack rider

I am in the early stages of planning my Mawson Trail ride and am finding this app so helpful. It has detailed information about all the towns on the route, the terrain, sights to see, how to get to and from the start/ end points of the route and most importantly a detailed much showing the route with live location services that can be used offline.Show lessPaulandjoseph
They don’t have southbound!
The app allows you to have southbound and northbound BUT they show the exact same thing. If you are going southbound the app is an absolute waste of money wouldn’t recommend!adventureboy101

The App allows information to be presented southbound or northbound. Such as the ordering of huts, towns, and trail sections. The distance calculations on the App are presented northbound or southbound. A user can choose this via the App settings. Within the textual description of each trail section some of the information assumes northbound, but often the information is direction-agnostic. It’d pretty easy to interpret information in the opposite direction. I think it’s harsh to give a 1-start review and call the App a waste of money because the textual description of each trail section does not fully reverse when changing from northbound to southbound. Obviously all our other 5-star reviewers do not agree that this makes the App useless.Don’t ride the Mawson without this app
The App was an excellent guide for riding the Mawson. All the mapping and information that you need. It’s all I used along with Google to do a solo trip. Great product.Kh2011tdf

Have just completed the Mawson Trail and found the app to be excellent, particularly the mapping and profile features. The trail descriptions are good, but be prepared that the conditions can make a massive difference to what ours experienced, so be prepared for anything!Borzoi

I just used this app for the Mawson. Was great for planning and during the trip. I did however use another app for navigation I would have been fine using this. Locate feature is handy as well as town shop details and opening times.

Just the right amount of detail to plan a trip.
Next improvement is to add 5km marker dots along the track line (or some other way to measure from here to there ahead of time)Fayley
