Great Image Processing App
It is simple to use app and has a nice GUI to quickly process input images, it is very useful for when you need to use it for processing tasks. A recommend app if you need to quickly isolate image content and make image masks.
Feature requests and bugs for the app developer:
A feature request that could enhance the app a lot is to allow the usage of Apple Shortcuts to have some actions that can load and save images getting a masked image or mask back as well as any other useful options like image trimming perhaps. Some URL Schemes also would be great. You could then incorporate the app into Shortcuts, scripts or tools etc designed for productivity and do batch processing tasks quickly.
Another request would be to use the Photos Extension to allow the creation of isolated images and masks from the Photos tool directly.
One thing that is slightly annoying is not having the option in the settings menu to start the app with an empty display rather than the default content.
There should probably also be a way to button toggle the Mask image so you can clearly see it, it is briefly shown when you go retouch mode. Also the object object extracting works great but one major option missing is a toggle button to do the opposite where the object detected is removed instead rather than the background. Being able to set the resulting image mask colors would be useful also.
In retouch mode it would be great if the brush could go bigger that currently possible in size, a softer brush to mask without a hardened edge would be great and maybe a rectangle and curve draw mode to mask a straight edge and be precise when masking.
Also you can rotate the iPad to go into preview mode but there is no obvious way to tab to the masked image or image mask. The app could maybe have clickable tabs that then hide from view after a certain duration of time passes without tapping the screen.
The back and forth buttons are useful for the default content also but you can accidentally loose the masking you have. If there was a confirmation message asking if you want to continue this would correct this, if a start without content option was added you could then perhaps hide them.
