Options
LOVE this format but hate the version. Would love some actual variety of versions! Specially the ESV.

don’t get me wrong, i love this and it looks really good. the only problem i have that i think would improve this is adding more variety to the verses and books of the Bible they use. It’s like they use the same book for one whole week. i think it would be better is there was more variety.

This helps me memorize and I love that’s it’s a widget to where I can see it on my Home Screen.

Nice widget to have on my Lock Screen, reminds me to get some verses read for the day.
Lock Screen widget not available
I read that a previous version brought back the Lock Screen widget but I am still unable to do so. Love the idea and the app works for Home Screen just not Lock Screen :(
Not useful
When you go on your iPhone, press add widget, it doesn’t appear or register as a widget. There are not setting or ‘help centre’ in the app to go to in order to fix this or explain what could be happening. Deleting the app as doesn’t fulfil the purpose of why I downloaded it.

Inside the app there is “Add Widgets” info button, where all the steps of adding the widget are described. Try to follow them. To add a widget you need to start typing «M B W» while in Add Widget menu and it will appear or just scroll down and find it in the list.
Straightforward and useful
The app is very straightforward to use and allows you to add Bible quotes to your homescreen and lockscreen. The quote changes every day. I have it on my lockscreen and it provides strong spiritual motivation throughout the day.

Wish there were options
I like this app. It’s simple and easy and adds a lot to my smartphone experience. However there are two requests I have 1, please add a couple more translations if possible! Or at least, could you please disclose which translation is being used for this app? and 2, if possible it would be great for the daily verses to end at more natural spots. For example my verse today is 1Cor 15:1 which says “Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand,” Which is nice but kind of an incomplete phrase/thought but would make more sense if it also included verse 2.
