Paid for premium and still got a full screen ad when I started it. Also the iPad version is unusable because the login interface doesn’t fit on the screen so you can’t even add an account.

The issue you mentioned that premium users still see splash ads has been fixed in the new version v1.1.0. Also, what model is your iPad? I will fix this problem in the next version.

I opened the app and was immediately presented with a full-screen, unskippable ad. I didn't even get a chance to log in. I have no problem paying for apps (and have already paid for a few other Mastodon apps), but this was *not* the way to convince me to give this app a chance.

Full-screen view is just very common splash screen for any apps. The "Skip" button is located in the bottom right corner of the screen, which is convenient to click when using the phone with one hand, and you may not notice it. As for the ads, I hope you can give the app developers a little incentive, so we can keep improving it with a little income. Thanks!
