So Creative!

Every detail of this game, from the plot to the art to the game play is incredibly creative. Definitely worth the download and the time. Also, if you like the game “Florence,” you will absolutely love this.

Navigation is kind of bad

Sometimes I don’t know how to invoke next plot, makes the experience hard to continue

Holy FUUUUUKKK

Why is the into 15 minutes long get the the point already , nobody wants to be sitting there for fifteen minutes waiting for the start of the game it’s annoying and unnecessary, maybe add a skip button for those of us who don’t want to wait for all the credits to go by slowly to be able to play the game

Not really a game

“Starts out slow” is an extreme understatement. It’s beautiful animation but it’s not really a game other than a simple puzzle or two. It’s more of a cartoon that you’re streaming and it’s constantly buffering and you need to keep clicking something to get it going.

Very sad

It was a very sad story but I didn’t understand some parts of the game because there wasn’t really an explanation but all in all it was a pretty awesome game.

Game play lacking story line cute

You get about half the game for free and then you have to pay $5.00 for the other half. The game gives a nice story and moderately ok graphics but overall chores are tedious and not very interactive for the cost. Would recommend the free portion but would not recommend a purchase of $5.00.

Holy Smokes!

Man, this game really suckered me in. I’ve excited for this game to come out for a while, but I wasn’t prepared for how emotionally heavy it would be. The visual cues, the pacing, the music, even the mini games all work together to create a heart breaking work of art. I only did the demo, but I can see the full version being well worth its money. Definitely a niche kind of game, but oh my goodness!
My only complaint is the amount of lag that I don’t usually deal with in other mobile games, but that makes a certain amount of sense given how recently it was released.
The creators of this game should be very proud of what they’ve made. This portrayal of grief is very real and emotional. It’s beautiful and easily my favourite game on the entire App Store!

Storytelling through repetition

This isn’t a game in the traditional sense. It’s more of an experience. The woodworker goes through sets of repetitive actions and as you repeat them a small change reminds him of the person whom he lost. Then, you’re brought to experience a part of his life with her, and the emptiness he feels after. It’s a thought provoking and heartfelt aim at storytelling through nuance. It’s about 2 hours of story so it’s very doable to sit and experience it through a single play through. I recommend to do so as you’ll get the full emotional trip in one solid journey as opposed to several small telling.

The sound really gives it a feeling of solidarity and solemnity. It doesn’t have a soaring orchestral. It doesn’t need one. This is a story through minimalism and that’s reflected in the audio as well. The moments where the music swells are where it’s helping you to feel the characters emotions in that moment. It’s an excellent job of using sound to invite the user into the characters heart and mind.
