Great content, app lacking
Great recordings, and digital concert hall at a very reasonable price, but the app is very bare bones and somewhat difficult to navigate because of it. No back button, navigating between sections of the app requires you to start from the “top” every time. Missing functionality that makes YouTube a better option at the moment, like downloading recordings, orchestra pages aren’t working. So much potential here to be THE classical music streaming platform with features relevant to classical performances like movement timestamps, etc. Sadly it’s just not quite there yet

Unable to use this as no signup
The first and only thing you see when opening this app are fields to enter your email and password. There is not a signup form and this gives an error "incorrect password" as it expects you to already have signed up, but there is no way to do so.
Love It!
So far so good. No issues with the app. You have to have an existing Symphony Live account to login. They currently have a $20 a year for life subscription available. Well worth it.
Not Good At All
I like to watch Symphony.live on my computer. The music and visuals are highly enjoyable. But, this app for my iPhone is not worthy of Symphony.live. There are so many things wrong about this app, it is hard to summarize. I will use an example to explain one issue: I will be listening/watching a concert and the screen will go black. I can tap the screen all over the place and no controls appear to get me out of the problem. Rebooting my iPhone will not help. Black screen. The only fix that I have found is to delete the app and start again. That will work for a bit…as in a few minutes. Then the screen is black again. While I am on a roll, let’s address the issue of the password. One would think that if a password works for Symphony.live on the computer that it would work on the app. Nope. I had to change the password on my computer, wait for a bit, and then log in with the new password on the app. (And, yes, I unhid my password to make sure they were both the same.). Symphony.live is a great service. They need an app that is worthy of that service. (In case there is anyone who thinks that I don’t know technology and that is why I am having difficulties, I spent 25 years as a senior-level computer systems engineer. I know garbage, when I see it, and this app is garbage. This app will not reside on my iPhone for a year. I will return to it after a year. If it remains garbage, I will cancel my subscription altogether. Let’s have a little respect for music, Symphony.live!!! You should know better.)

So the app opens to a sign in screen, which would be fine and dandy if I had sign in credentials. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be an option to create said credentials.
Excellent content for the money
It’s not a scam. Free for a year on current offer and then £10 a year. Plenty of content though not huge amount. If they keep adding content I’ll keep subscribing at that price. Also has Apple TV app and fire sticks etc
Not true it’s not a scam
Alright at least I managed to successfully to cancel my subscription. Now I have to see whether it’s any go
PS yes if is
PS yes if is
Scam
This app seems a scam since you can’t cancel your subscription. If you try they tell you to go in the app, click on the human icon, go to subscription and cancel. If you do that and you click manage subscription it says you need to go to the website to cancel. If you go to the web site, they say you need to go to the app to cancel. If you go to your Apple ID it doesn’t come up!

Does nothing
Dumb app immediately demands login with email & password. No way to sign up if you don’t have one. There’s nothing else there.
Downloaded app and can’t get in
I downloaded the app from the Apple store and it asks me to sign in with email and password. I may have registered and had a trial period some time ago, memory fail me, but if so, I don’t have the info to sign in. The sign-in page has no “forgot password?” nor “forgot username?”option, and no Register option, so at the moment there is absolutely nothing one can do about accessing the app. I’m on and iPad Pro 9.7, OS 16.
