Fantastic App for the Eversolo DPM A6
I have absolutely nothing to complain about with the Eversolo app controlling my music streamer. I haven’t experienced any bugs, It has been intuitive and regularly updated and the Cast mode that mimics the Eversolo face on my phone is really slick. Top notch job! it makes me not miss any form of remote control with the DPM – A6 device.

App is OK when it works. Network is trash.
App randomly loses the player and will not reacquire it even adding directly via IP which doesn’t change. I have to completely delete the app, reinstall, then reboot the player and then *maybe* I can get it to work again.
Like another poster I have an enterprise network and my player is hardwired via Ethernet.
Scanning the QR code *never* works.

Volume bottoms too small
The volume up and down access too small, please make it easier to access it.
Network Stability on WLAN
After an endless amount of updates, it appears that network connectivity issues still remain. I’m running an enterprise grade network but the app inexplicably does not want to connect to the device. Both the mobile device and streamer are forced to use the same access point on the network. The streamer has a static IP set in the router via DHCP reservation. I recommend that the devs add static IP settings in the streamer menu directly and make the streamer WLAN radio stay awake when the unit is powered off. That will solve a TON of problems.

Good But Room For Improvement
The app works fairly well & the UI is fairly intuitive. There is an unfortunate lag in the operation when using the Cast function but irrespective of that, using Cast is quite convenient for commanding the unit from some comfortable listening position. One feature that would be useful if it is possible, would be the ability to Power On the unit with the app. Otherwise, it is a good remote controller & it appears that the company continues to seek improvements.

Getting Better
Updating my previous review. The app and DMP-A6 has gotten vastly better since the last app and firmware update. Many of the previous issues have been resolved. I haven’t tested all of the fixes or improvements yet, so I can’t rate this app with 5 stars. Networking over WiFi is still a bit finicky. Your DAC/Streamer must be on the same WiFi network/radio for this app to work correctly. Even if multiple WiFi radios/nodes are linked to share data between themselves. Still no way to set a static IP on the device when using WiFi. Recommend setting up IP reservations in the router as a work around.

Horrible
Pretty horrible app for a $900 piece of hifi gear. Difficult to connect and often loses connection. I’ve had to factory reset my DMP-A6 and reinstall the iOS software several time to get it working. Eversolo needs to get their act straight before I send their streamer back and buy a Cambridge streamer. Mad!

Awful app
This app keeps dropping out.iPad and machine 15 ft from each other.music will just stop.if it stops you cannot hook up again .it keeps saying cannot find device. So delete everything scan code to pair.pairing takes 4 or 5 scans.a big waste of time I’m going back to my blue sound node.
