  • A Lovely Preview of What Wonderful Future Games Lie “A-head”~

First and foremost, I overall enjoyed Aznana; as I suspected from how much I fell in love with previous works done by Caramel, I knew that I would end up loving this newest addition of theirs. I am going to avoid repeating all the great remarks that have surely already been brought up multiple times by previous reviewers in order to give constructive feedback that is hopefully helpful for both the players AND the developers. My biggest complaint is that the game doesn’t save your last game’s currency. When Aznana tells you that you should say your goodbyes back in town before making the big move that is needed in finishing the game, do NOT make the same mistake that I did in taking her seriously about “not being be able to come back to them.” The game will save the progress you have made in helping fulfill all the shopkeepers’ wishes, but what it will not do is save any surplus you have left over after making your $1 million purchase. I was REALLY disappointed when I realized that the additional $500k I had left over from my previous playthrough doesn’t carry over to the game’s second playthrough. Smaller complaints that I have is that there should be a little more variety to the music. An emotional disconnect occurs if the game's default happy music is the SAME music that plays for what was supposed to be the game's sad moments too!

  • Another amazing game!

This game was fun and didn’t require too much effort, very easygoing yet enjoyable. The art is adorable and the characters are fun! I enjoyed the process of buying and selling items in the game to different characters. Overall, definitely recommend playing this game to anyone interested.
  • Bittersweet and heartwarming

I’m still a little teary as I write this review - I loved this whole game. The art, the music, the storytelling, the gameplay itself, all of them together made a great experience. I really liked figuring out the best ways to make money, and loved learning more and more about the characters. Waiting to get from place to place also isn’t bad, and is made easier by just watching an ad. I admire the devs for making all the endings free, too.

I couldn’t help but leave a tip at the end, just to get that little extra bit. And also as thanks for making this game, I just loved it from beginning to end 💖

  • Amazing design

For me this game was made with clear love. of course they had to make money, but they do it in such a way, that you have a option to use ads or purchase. but never putting a major time delay, so those who can be patient still enjoy the game. as the story continues constantly, I’m glad the ads aren’t forced, but rather a option to progress a little faster.

  • Story is Great

AZNANA has a nice art style that promotes the story it tells. The menial tasks, can collection and item trading, is just the potatoes to the meat of the characters and story of the game. The little interactions and bigger story progressions help make you fall in love with each seller. Though the story itself is set in a semi depressing world; the characters themselves provide perspectives that can help you the player understand it better.
The real life waiting between trips might make a person who wishes to finish the game impatient. But whether on purpose or not the waiting creates an empty period to help you think about the events within the story. Though this game has ads to skip waiting periods and help you earn money.

  • Wow.

I first found Caramel Column through Alter Ego and fell in love with the story and game (Es best girl). I played this since I saw that there was a english translation and was just blown away… It may be the most heartwarming game I’ve ever played. Thank you for making this and sending support to the team behind AZNANA! Looking forward to your next project!!

  • Perfect

so cute and sweet and genuinely made me sad sometimes. writing was great and the world building is fantastic
  • Ridiculously simple, highly enjoyable

Nothing to the game pick your destination, pick up cans along the way. Buy items from one shop sell for profit at next shop. exercise a little bit of logic and trial and error to figure out what you should sell where and you will master the game pretty quickly.
That being said, all the characters are likable, and I was constantly impatient to see the next part of the story

  • Great game

This was such a great game. I just had to play both endings, but then I got sad that it was over. I love how you are able to talk to all the shop owners and help them with things, and they all had their own personalities. Very creative and fun. You can tell a lot of thought was put into this game.
  • Simply beautiful!

I’m not one to ever really post a review on anything but with Aznana, I had to make an exception.

When I first saw the art for Aznana within the app store, I knew that it would be something special. Now that I’ve downloaded and played around with it for a few days, its art and journey of Kiddo’ and Aznana have kept me intrigued and enthralled.

For a basic synopsis, it follows a mute kid who stumbles upon the head of a girl named Aznana, who speaks on behalf of the kid as he cannot. Wishing for something new other than life within a bleak town that’s hugged around by large, foreboding walls, the two journey around town, finding and selling items they come across town in order to leave the town and find a new life outside the harsh walls.

If the art style made you download this game, following the journey of the two and seeing how they’d make it out of the town will certainly make you stay. While the gameplay loop is simple, that’s far from a complaint as seeing the journey of the two unfold along with seeing the stories of the shopkeepers and others townsfolk all accompanied by the cutest and most endearing art style i’ve seen will certainly make it a joy to play and experience!

A must download in my opinion!
