Super unique and functional
So many apps I struggle to get along with, but this is straightforward and to the point
Gamification is cool, but it can be annoying finding one that has a a system that YOU want, and this is simple yet fantastic and still customisable. It’s also very cheap! £2.99 a month is a steal for the pro version :)

I like the fundamentals, ruined by devs monetising too early
just to preface this review. leaving as 5 stars to help the app but more like a note to devs:
I really like app. the way that tasks lead to adventures, and the notes section is awesome and i couldn't find a habit tracker or to do list out there that does this.
the ui is clean and responsive, works well.
the gamification side needs a bit of work imo, I'm coming from habitica so heavily biased i suppose. I was expecting heavy gamification with an avatar, shops to buy loot. custom rewards never really appealed to me.
my main problem was the monetisation aspect. you are limited to 2 adventures i.e. 2 habits or "long-term projects" otherwise you need to pay a monthly subscription, which ironically, stopped me wanting to commit to using the app, when other apps let you create other
my closing thoughts to devs:
- an avatar of some kind that would progress alongside would really scratch that RPG itch
- the task/adventure with notes mechanics are brilliant and is something i am definitely needing from other apps
- I think the dealbreaker for me is you're trying to monetise in the wrong direction. Ive spent money on habitica simply because i want my avatar to look cool, not because I want to 'increase the functionality' of the app. i feel that the functionality should just be a given

Keeps me motivated and become a happy quitter of bad habits!
I've been using a different habit-training app for years and started using HeroMode for about 6 months now. After using both in parallel for a while, I decided to completely switch to HeroMode. It is simple, but also at the same time, it is with complex layers of tasks to create your own "Adventures". Plus, the reward system!
True story. I have a sweet tooth and couldn't keep myself away from candies. With HeroMode, I designed my Adventures in a way that I am motivated to accomplish work/school tasks to earn points, which I can use to redeem rewards, such as candies. I still get to enjoy candies - just that I have to put efforts to earn it. After a couple months of doing so, I also find myself less desperate in the candy aisle!

A very useful and underrated app
I’ve used a lot of apps I liked before but this is my first time leaving a review. I have used other gamification tools like Habitica in the past, but none have met my needs with the simplicity and flexibility of this design. This app really helps me stay motivated and the developer is also super responsive to feedback. Would highly encourage to use if your looking for a fun and effective task manager or just have trouble getting things done.
