Pretty Good

The nice thing about ndemic is that their games are thoughtful and unique. Even though this borrows heavily from both Rebel Inc and Plague Inc it has a unique feel all its own with slightly different mechanics. Brings in survival builder and zombie aspects as well. Pretty solid little game.

Some of the negative reviews are questionable as I didn’t run into any of their issues. Can you lose the game from not building a toilet? Technically yes, but you would have to be pretty much ignoring the moral system to do so. Can zombies sneak behind your front lines…I guess that depends on you, are you maintaining a defensible perimeter? Are your troops over committed? Retreat is pretty easy, but you better be ready for the zombies to give chase. As your population grows, your’re able to field more fighters.

Fun in the apocalypse

Let’s get to the tacks cans cork board. I’ve enjoyed games from this developer since Plague Inc. this scratches a new itch I found for “the end of the world” I didn’t know I had, or needed for that matter. I have to force myself to quit playing it. But I’m not going into depth. If you enjoy Plague and Rebel Inc. , you’ll enjoy this until “The End”.

Pretty solid game, but

The game itself is quite enjoyable, and I appreciate the overall concept. It's genuinely interesting to me. However, I dislike the fact that after paying a dollar for the game on the Apple Store, you have to spend an additional $15 to unlock nearly everything. It feels like you're stuck playing on easy mode, with limited access to features, which is really frustrating. Once you consider that the content being offered is essentially cheap and not particularly engaging, that $15 price tag seems excessive. A fee of around five dollars would feel more reasonable, but $15 is just too much.

Highly recommended

If you loved the previous game plague inc, and the mods of stopping the infection then this game would be your fav too.
It’s an improve version of that in its own game, I haven’t find any bugs, gameplay is good. Tho I would love a regular mod where I can just play for infinity and make unlimited house, basically like a city simulation but with survival added. Overall the game is pretty much good.

Great game, needs a few adjustments

The game is very fun, I’ve already sunk quite a few hours into it. I have one gripe, besides the price for all future content, when you get much later in the game in the second world and start needing to acquire stone. Scrolling to the workshop and other late game services becomes increasingly more difficult as the game picks up on your touch and simply opens whatever service your hand was hovering over while trying to scroll further down. This makes it quite difficult to continue progression and is a mechanic that should be solved.

Lovely

So far the first two campaign missions have been very intriguing. The story elements and messages really flow well with the gameplay and atmosphere of the game. I was concerned with how hard the game would be to learn; Having played Rebel Inc and Plague Inc, I knew I may have been in for a rough time of catching on. That wasn’t the case, the tutorial was great and generous, and so far the game feels very well paced. I quickly noticed that even being very successful right away isn’t a downside, because there is still much searching to do around the map. I can tell that the developer spent good time planning his game for the long run, without forsaking how important the first impressions would be. Ive always been a fan of Ndemic, and as I jump further into the game I dont doubt that he has a lot in store for me.

Great Quality, Okay Design

This game is very well made. The visuals and sound design are fantastic, and I only noticed a single bug.

Unfortunately, the game struggles with a lack of variety. At the time of me writing this, there are 18 missions you complete in order, and each mission is the exact same challenge: jump through 8 hoops before you run out of time. This isn’t bad for a $10 experience ($2 for the tutorial 1-8 missions, $8 for the remaining 9-18), but it also isn’t great either - I finished the hardest difficulty after just a day.

This game needs variety. When every mission is a time trial, and when there is no quickplay feature that generates new maps with random goals, there’s only so much you can do. It’s a good game to kill an afternoon if you’re stuck somewhere, but don’t expect to get more from it than that.

Interesting concept

I’ve been following each release including the board game that was launched a few years back and when I find the idea of the game to be interesting in terms of how “extinct” humans would try to rebuild after the virus dies down. It is also cool to see characters such as the economist from Rebel inc be connected into this game

Great! Very excited for the future

Remember when mobile games were good? Remember when they didn’t try to rob you? This game is great, everything that the description says is accurate, and the fact that your purchases are always permanent, you can play as long as you want or as short as you want

I could keep listing random reason why this game is great but I’ll stop now, but it before the sale is over!

This game is awesome so far! Nothing like any other game I’ve played and it is extremely close to the type of game I’ve always hoped would be created! Thank you so much for your hard work and effort. It really shows
