Generally used for validating night actions.The Carebeans NFC application is for use for Carebeans care system users only.
App Overview: Carebeans NFC
Carebeans NFC provides a secure OTP-based login system and enables users to manage care-related actions using NFC (Near Field Communication). Below is a detailed explanation of the login process and key features of the app, including the NFC support check.
Login Flow and NFC Check
1) NFC Support Check:
- When a user opens the app, it first checks if the device supports NFC.
- If NFC is not supported, the app prevents the user from proceeding to the login screen and displays an error message: "NFC Not Supported."
- If NFC is supported, the user is allowed to proceed with the login process.
Login Screen:
- Users enter their username/email and password to log in.
- After successfully entering the credentials, the app moves to the OTP verification stage.
OTP Verification Screen:
- After successfully logging in, the user will be prompted to enter a one-time password (OTP) sent to their registered device for two-step verification.
- Once the user enters the correct OTP, they are navigated to the dashboard screen.
- If the OTP entered is incorrect, the user will be prompted to re-enter the OTP.
Dashboard Overview:
- The dashboard contains two main tabs:
* Service User Tab (Default)
* Carer User Tab
- Service User Tab
The user must first search for and select a Service User from a list.
After selecting a Service User, the user can perform the following actions:
1) Search Again: If the user wishes to select a different Service User, they can tap the search button to choose another.
2) Write NFC Data: The user can write data related to the selected Service User onto an NFC card by tapping the Write NFC button and holding the card near the device. If an issue occurs while writing the data (e.g., timeout), an error message will be displayed, such as "Timeout" or "Try Again."
3) Erase NFC Card Data: If the user wants to erase the data previously written to an NFC card, they can tap the Erase Card Data button and hold the NFC card near the device to clear its data.
- Carer User Tab
Similar to the Service User tab, the user must first search for and select a Carer User from a list.
After selecting a Carer User, the user can perform the following actions:
1) Search Again: If the user wishes to select a different Carer User, they can tap the search button to choose another.
2) Write NFC Data: The user can write data related to the selected Carer User onto an NFC card by tapping the Write NFC button and holding the card near the device.
- Summary
The app enables users to log in securely using OTP-based verification and perform NFC-related tasks for Service Users and Carer Users, including writing and erasing data on NFC cards. The app also ensures that devices without NFC support cannot proceed beyond the login screen.
