The app contains a small number of themed screens. The adult or toddler touches the themed box where the child is given an animation of three items that reflect the theme. For example: when you choose the Fruits themed box three fruits appear. The child touches each fruit and the narrator names the fruit. Then the narrator asks the child to touch the fruit that he names. The problem is that Toddlers do not just touch once and wait for the narrator to speak before touching another fruit. It ends up sounding like a rap song and even when the child touches the correct item, there is such a lag from all the repeats that the child is confused and gets frustrated. This is the structure for every theme, of which I think there are about 9.
