Game is buggy and app locks up
Sometimes starting a match will result in a blank background screen with the haptic feedback letting you know your time is running out after 30 seconds. The only thing that can be done is to force quit thus resulting in a loss.
Other times it looks like other players are not taking their turns when suddenly you have run out of time on your turn so the game is somehow out of sync with the server.Show lessBuggy steaming pile
new update has ruined ranked
I used to play this game ALL the time. The most recent update has absolutely ruined the match/ranked play of this game. as a higher-ranked player, I am now never able to get matches for games - i watch the ad and then it says there was a problem finding a match. This is what happens 99% of the time. If I am able to get a match, it ends up being a match against only one other person. I will likely delete this app if the ranked matchup system is not fixed.Show lessbodhiodhiodhi

Not a good update
I used to love playing the ranked version of this game. I was somewhat addicted. Since the new update, I am only paired with one other person instead of two. That used to happen every once in a while, now it is every single game. It is not as enjoyable with only 1 opponent.
I actually deleted the game because of it. I just reinstalled it with a new user name, hoping it would go back to the former 3 player games. It hasn’t. So disappointed. If that doesn’t improve, I may delete it again and give it up altogether. It is 2 stars instead of 1, since it used to be a great game.Show lessSplendr
Great. But needs some tweaks.
Awesome app. Just a few suggestions. First, separate music and sound into two different options. Second, allow the orientation of the app to rotate with the device. Thank you.tempo_drummer
Love the Game, but it steals my coins!!
I love this game, but I have one large complaint. Every time I start up a game, even if I am not able to get into one… it steals 100 coins and doesn’t return them. It’s not easy to get coins on this game so I find this very frustrating. When the game works and doesn’t steal my coins I have a blast playing it!Show lessSarahLeigh3
Great game, terrible scoring
I don’t get the scoring at all. I win by a lot: +4, +7. I win by the same amount and get there first: -26, -8. I win by a tiny amount, +31. I lose and come in second: +2-40. The rules say absolutely nothing about how to gain points. I’m starting to guess that whomever spends more on micro transactions gets the points?Show lessIxi7311
Almost Perfect
This is a great game! I wish more apps would allow for private games with people you know. We play all the time. And it’s free and the ads don’t impact the actual game play. Though, sometimes the ads bog down the system. But for the past several weeks, the number of gameplay bugs have really impacted this app. It seems the developers are struggling to keep up with the huge success of this app. Please make comprehensive updates to get this back to the smooth software it was months ago. Hello, this is the Ephod development team. We sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced the issue of being kicked out to the login screen when launching the game on March 19th. The bug occurred due to an increase in users, causing a load on the game records in the database memory. The issue lasted for approximately 6 hours, and we took additional measures to prevent the same problem from occurring again after resolving it on the same day. We have provided 1000 coins to everyone who was unable to enjoy the game properly during this process. We deeply apologize to many of you who have felt inconvenience due to recent update failures and this incident. We acknowledge our shortcomings in this process, and we are truly saddened by the fact that Ephod is now perceived as an app with many issues. Taking this experience as a lesson, our development team will put more effort into creating an environment where users can focus solely on enjoying the game. Just updated my app to the latest version and now it’s even worse! It used to freeze all the time about a month ago, then they fixed that bug. Then it was having connection problems the past two weeks, so they apparently fixed that with this current update. Now it just doesn’t work! I have yet to finish a full game. It either won’t connect or it freezes. So disappointing considering I just paid to remove ads last week.Show lessMIworkouts721
