Slow
I really like the simplistic design.
Though, it works most of the time, but everytime I click on a different spot, it buffers forever. Then I have to force quit and lose all my work.i am boomer my opinion is best

Could be perfect except for 1 big problem...
This is hands down the best made journaling app in my honest opinion. However, since it is a journaling/note app that would be used to record someones most personal or valuable thoughts and emotions, end-to-end encryption is an absolute must.
A password lock just to deter entry into the app doesn't protect against someone gaining access and reading/downloading someone's personal notes. I'm not sure if notes get sent to a server or any third party cloud service or not, but if they do I couldn't be comfortable using this app for anything personal knowing my notes might not be safe.Show lessJayjay434

Do not download this version.
Long-time user of the previous version of this app. When you download the new version, it will let you migrate your data from the old one. I was hoping this version would fix all the bugs I notified the developer about- however it did not. The new update does not have any visible differences from the first version aside from a subscription that you need to pay for unless you are a long-time user of the previous app. The old app was deleted to make room for the ‘new app.’ You still cannot reach them through their customer service email, which I have tried to multiple times. I’m really hoping to change my rating, because I want to love this app and encourage others to download it, but at this time I simply cannot see the point due to inactivity on the developer’s end. UPDATED RESPONSE ••• The syncing was not fixed for me, all my books are glitching and are out of order, same as the last version of the app. It does not allow me to send feedback or contact through the app: The message pop-up reads as: Unable to send auto send mail. I have sent multiple emails to the email address and received no response. ••• Still no response from the developer to any of my inquiries.
UPDATE!
The developer responded to my emails and is saying they will fix bugs and even thought the suggestions to add features to the app were good and said they would implement them in the future.Show lessMeow wow!

Hi, the most important problem once2 solved is sync stability. You can redownload once 1 from AppStore - Purchased （in the right top of AppStore page head-image）and migrate once1’date to once2. I recently updated my Once app to Once 2, and I'm really excited about it, but my entries weren't syncing between my phone and my laptop.
So, I tried turning off iCloud on my laptop app, and now it won't turn back on. No matter how many times I turn it on and exit, it says "Shutdown" when I check Sync.
Also, I tried to email directly about this problem, but didn't receive a response. :(Show lessMysteryBird
Perfect transfer!
The transfer from Once 1 to Once 2 was quick and worked perfectly. The lifetime access to PRO for longtime users is installed, and everything works except the dark mode… hopefully this will be fixed in a future update.R. Marit
