Reviews of Doom Simulator

  • Potential ruined by ads and limited content

The game has a ton of potential, however the endless pushing of 30-60 second ads ruins the experience. You spend way more time watching an ad then playing the game. If you pay for the removal of ads, you rapidly discover the content is actually very short and repeating. I can beat the game in about five minutes without the ads and it just cycles though over and over again.

The core gameplay is fun and the story seems like it could have some fun elements, but it’s incomplete and you can tell the developers gave up on finishing it. Story panels will just over write each other so you can’t read them. Or it’ll say you did something but then the action doesn’t happen. Like you got a bandage, but it doesn’t show up in your inventory.

I hope they revisit and fix the bugs, reduce the ads, and extend the content and this could turn into a good game.
