    Checking this out while listening to the DC City Cast podcast about it. Lived in DC since 84 and thought I was up on DC history but already learned something new. Worked on Lafayette Sq for two years, went to an exhibit on its history but this is first time hearing it was a slave trading post. Can’t wait to stroll over to U Street and use it there. Thanks!

  • highlight of my DC Trip

    Had an incredible time walking around DC during the fall with all of the incredible foliage and such while getting to learn some history to this city. So happy I heard about this app.

    It never occurred to me that there was not an app like this to educate those in DC as well as visitors about Civil Rights. This is a great resource and happy someone thought of it.
