Reviews of Core Anesthesia

  • The real MVP

This app/company makes continuing ed a breeze. Thorough yet concise content in a format you can squeeze in when it’s convenient for you AND CRNA owned? Win win. An even bigger plus: the customer service is top notch - a rare thing these days! They worked with me to submit my credits out of their normal submission periods and were so kind. Will forever recommend Core!
  • Recommend but not always the easiest to navigate

Useful to review when I’m out and about, but I think there’s some kinks that could be worked on a bit. I had the premium subscription for a year before realizing the episodes under the Home Screen categories weren’t all the episodes. That’s probably just elder millennial tech problems though. 🙃 If you search for certain topics that say “premium only” in whatever podcast platform you use, they sometimes show up as viewable in the app, a couple times I haven’t been able to find them even though they’re on the podcast, and sometimes even though I pay for the subscription it still says only available to premium members. 🤔 This very well could be user error, but if the app was a bit easier to navigate I’d give it another star. Seldomly the guys will say something that’s not correct, but they have acknowledged that & say to write in so they can correct it. I just never remember because I’m usually listening while driving. Overall I still recommend, the guys are great and the information they cover is a quick recap of the pertinent info for each topic.
  • Fantastic adjunct to school materials for studying

I knew when I started CRNA school that Core Anesthesia would be a resource I would utilize. I've heard so many good things about it not only from my teachers, but from social media influencer it's ours and CRNAs I know outside of school. I really appreciate how easy the app is to use, and Cole and Tanner really do touch on subjects at the perfect depth. Not so much that you can't listen to it, but enough to be able to prepare for tests and even boards. My program is frontloaded, and I live a good distance away from school, so you better believe Core Anesthesia is what I listen to on the way there and back. It really makes a difference, and I'm happy to have it as a resource and promote it to other SRNAs!
